hummusbar — Restaurant in Budapest

I’ve been eating at ‘Hummus bar’ locations since they opened at Alkotmany maybe 15 years ago. Sadly this location is nothing like past experiences. This was the smallest falafel sandwich I’ve ever had. Maybe 4 balls but lacking in almost everything else. Why so stingy with the salad stuff inside it? Where did it all go. Yesterday evening visited hummus bar near by Mammut and had an extremely disappointing experience. As a vegan, I specifically ordered vegan dishes, but was packed non-vegan food instead. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of attention to dietary preferences and restrictions. Due to this incident, I will not be visiting this restaurant again. I hope they improve their service and ensure better care for customers with specific dietary needs...

This was the best service that I have had on the Buda side. After a long day of tourism and then coming over to Buda, my friends and I were thinking about where to go for dinner. We haf heard about this place from friends. Yes, it is HummasBar. But they add a very unique taste to each of their dishes. Myrtle was our server and we'd definitely recommend. I am satisfied.
