A lovely stylish coffee & brunch place with an event/vip room upstairs. It's merely 100 meters from the Houses of Parliament. I have been going past it for way too long on my morning jogs so finally decided to check it out. I popped in for brunch. They have 6 outside tables and I took a seat there as the weather was gorgeous. Inside they have about 10-12 seats inside. they also have a 20-35 people space upstairs, this is for pre-booked private events. The menu has a list of proper coffee creations including cortado and mocha! (I have to say this is the only place I have found in central Budapest that has it on the menu so kudos) and have alternative milk options but no coconut milk unfortunately. They also have certain matcha and other drinks that I haven't seen elsewhere in the area. I ordered a strawberry match, which was perfect, I even liked the glass it was served in. The brunch menu has a great selection of staple brunch dishes including eggs benedict, croque madame, salmon sandwich, vegan toast etc. I had the croque madame, which is made with 2 big slices of sourdough, it was expertly made, if maybe slightly too much mustard, but it was very good. They are open Monday to Friday 7.30am-6pm and 9am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. but it is very important to note that the kitchen closes at 3pm every day, so if you are after a cooked meal you need to go before 3pm. Service was friendly and attentive and so fast that I was unable to change my order 20seconds after I ordered it, They do not put service charge on the bill at all which was surprising to me but you can choose to round up the bill if you want. It's a lovely coffee and brunch place, I'll...

The promise of something good. We waited around 20 min to get a table, on a Sunday, during F1. Not a big problem, we are reasonable people. We got seated, our drinks order was taken. All good so far. The coffee is truly good btw. And so we were excited about the food.

After waiting for more than 30 min since the drinks had arrived (not since when we were seated or placed the food order!) and noticing that tables who were seated after us already have their food, we asked how much longer for ours. The smugness of the waiter telling us it's a full house, we need to wait cause soon our food will be out. We said ok...again... reasonable people here, but please don't take us for fools. After yet another 10 min he came over to tell us they lost our order and that they are sorry and drinks will be on the house, and either we could repeat the order and wait or they can give us take away sandwiches. We didn't want to wait, we had wasted enough time. Said yes to the sandwiches, thinking they do what we'd do if we had screwed up: hurry up. They didn't. After 15 min we left. I think we gave them plenty of chances to redeem themselves, but the service is just poor and inconsiderate. I do think the food is good, looked good, but I guess we'll...

I had high expectations for this place after reading several reviews and seeing a feature in a local online magazine.

The coffee does not disappoint and the fresh squeezed Orange juice had the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness.

I, along with one of the other people at our table ordered the Eggs Benedict and were a bit disappointed. The poached egg lacked the warm ooziness of a properly cooked egg and the scant serving of hollandaise sauce only reinforced our opinion.

On the other hand, the omelette with feta and cotto ham was quite tasty as was the avocado toast with salmon. The Salty French Toast was also a hit.

A delightful woman, who I assume is the manager, inquired about our experience as we were leaving and offered us some baked treats to make up for our disappointment with the Eggs Benedict and the surly attitude of the male waiter we encountered upon first entering.

All-in-all a mixed experience was salvaged by the kindness and professionalism of the...
