Basic but good… odd layout Rooms adequate I expected better ! Reception can’t answer anything they have to go Google it! Rooms are good size and warm. The shower tray is absolutely lethal… it’s difficult to wash and hang on For your life to a rail at the same time.. shocked it passed health and safety.. No soap at the sink one has to lean into the shower area and use soap dispenser there to wash your hands at the sink.. yet strangely enough they supply tooth brush and tooth paste, Razors and shaving cream makeup remover, moisturiser, shampoo and even bath Gel but no Bath! But no soap to wash your hands at the sink! They list a ‘spa’ at this hotel yet not a mention of it anywhere even at reception no literature or posters anywhere to say it exists! Breakfast is average they will cook you eggs in various forms The staff simply do not communicate this at all - in fact they don’t communicate to anyone at all! They wander around as tho waiting on clients was beneath them… no interaction whatsoever, It was 3,days before I saw the sign about cooked breakfasts. There is also NOWHERE to have lunch.. or eat or drink during the day although the sign clearly stated open 12-2400. I was told it remains-closed.. during the day opening at 1800-2400….also closed ALL weekend …. Now that’s really strange! An hotel with nowhere to eat! Almost like the pub with no beer …. What am I saying …. There’s no bar at all just restaurant… having said that the restaurant does serve alcohol but with ‘Palinka ‘ ( local brandy) costing 2000Fl about £5 per measure and Tokay wine costing 3000 per glass it IS rather expensive. Location superb close to shopping restaurants and Danube !

A nice hotel, very good location, but services are worst. We paid for a double standard room with 2 adults with breakfast and they charged us one breakfast more because they said we only booked 1 person. We showed them the booking.com confirmation and they said we should contact booking to resolve our problem. The front desk manager, VERONIKA, didn t coooperate with us and told us to resolve this by ourself because isn t her /hotel’s problem. And as I know, it s the agreement between Zenit and Booking.com. They are more money oriented, than customer oriented. When we arrived, they said the breakfast will be 14 euros and in the morning it was 16 euros. And VERONIKA told us with irony, if the difference is too much for us. It was not a problem to pay even if we already paid it on booking.com, but it was more about principle and how we were treated. Too bad that these kind of nice hotels doesn t have warm and good prepared personal. P.s. the poorest breakfast we ever had on a 4 stars hotel. The bed size was 140 cm ( they presented to us like double big bed). The view was a big grey wall! No parking area ( we paid 25 euros in a private garage for 1 night - from 8 pm until 9 am)

You can’t beat the location, but the rest will leave you wanting. None of the staff had any answers to my questions. They even seemed confused when I asked about a boat ride to Szentendre. The girl at the desk had no idea this city, which is 45 minutes away by train, even existed. Staff was nice, but not knowledgeable by any standards. We had two adjoining rooms booked for our family. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner were out in both and housekeeping never came around to refill them over a 5 day stay. Had to call to get them to come refill our bottle before we left for an early flight. The bathroom in one of the rooms and an exposed screw imbedded into m the floor, which I cut my foot on. The mattress is the hardest I’ve found at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I want to love this hotel but I find it impossible to love anything more than the location. We had rooms 228 & 229.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Pest, with excellent transportation links.||A very minor word of caution: as of February 2025, the hotel is undergoing renovations- although I must quickly add that these works did not negatively affect our experience in any meaningful way.||Other than a minor, though unfortunate error on check-in, our interactions with the staff were efficient and even then, uniformly polite. Although, I’ll add with some minor regret that the receptionist neglected to query if we’d enjoyed our stay on check-out - I always find this question to be a gracious touch on departure, that also serves as a useful opportunity for feedback. I mention this relatively insignificant critique purely to highlight the high level of service and comfort that defined the rest of our experience- it’s just a pity to see a top-tier operation stumble slightly at the finish line. ||The hotel is a few moments stroll from the airport bus terminal point and is literally seconds away from the convenient and scenic tram line No. 2/2B, which serve the Pest side of the Danube and which offer easy transfers to Buda. Honestly: the location simply cannot be rivalled in Budapest- it’s the perfect base. Given this central location, food options are abundant. I should also add that the area surrounding the hotel (and indeed all of the central areas within the city) felt perfectly safe, even at night. ||Within the hotel room, which was perfectly clean, tea/ coffee facilities were on-hand, while the shower, often a point of disappointment for me when travelling, was outstanding. Additionally, the temperature in Budapest hovered around 0 degrees celsius throughout our stay, yet the temperature within the room was perfect.||This was our second visit to this hotel and I could easily envision another trip. On reviewing this hotel two years ago, I entitled my verdict: “Among the finest hotels in Europe” - I’m happy to report that I retain that opinion. Although we had a tiny number of sub-optimal moments on this occasion, it would be madness to criticise this hotel in any serious fashion. It’s a gem in the heart of beautiful Budapest....

A fair bit of warning before you enter this property : leave your valuables at home, your phone and even clothes at home. They are not safe here as they very well knowing that a tourist from another country who leaves the next day cannot very well afford to get into this kind of mess.||Before going on this medium, i tried decently to contact them them by mail but after no response to what i believe is the most important requirement for any hospitality business, goods security of guests, I am forced ro write this review.||||I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the level of customer service I received during my recent stay at your hotel.||Upon returning home to India and unpacking our luggage, we discovered that several valuable items were missing. ||The details of the missing items are as follows:||Four watches (1 Hublot watch, 1 Guess watch, 2 more watches)||One Burberry perfume (only the perfume bottle was stolen, while the box remained)||We had left the hotel shortly after check-in for sightseeing and were completely unaware of this theft until we unpacked at home. Given the circumstances, it is likely that the theft occurred during our absence from the room.I definitely think it was housekeeping. ||if your hotel was keen on making ones vacation as memorable as they again claim, they would be keen to help their guests. This is definitely not a precedence which you would like to set for your future guests, as i am sure will not be the last of such complaints if the culprit/culprits are not found.||I wish i could give a negative rating to this property.||I however sincerely believe that if the management tries it can redress this situation and only after no response on mail i am writing this review hoping that some action...
