My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Prima Fashion and will definitely return on our future visits to [Buda]Pest. The location was absolutely perfect! You’re essentially on the doorstep to a plethora of restaurants and shops; and walking distance to various tourists attractions & pick-up points, as well as the metro & buses. Prior to our arrival, we were a tad bit worried that the Deluxe Room we booked, might be too small. However, it was actually a decent size and very comfortable for two persons. The staff are such an asset to this hotel. The high level of professionalism, courtesy and efficiency we experienced from the moment we arrived, continued throughout our entire stay, by every single member of staff we dealt with. There was nothing that was too much to ask for. Housekeeping did a top-notch job servicing our room daily and we appreciated that room amenities [toiletries etc.] were constantly replenished. The Housekeepers [Maria and colleagues] were so warm and friendly, and even left us personalized, handwritten notes. Such a lovely touch! We were delighted with the spread in the breakfast room. The assortment of both cold and hot dishes was truly impressive. The breakfast staff can only be described as a team of hardworking ants. They were marvelously organized and cooperative with each other. Dishes were continuously refreshed and refilled, even as closing time approached, and tables were always cleared and reset in a timely manner. Last, but not least, kudos to your amazing Front Desk staff. We were grateful for their prompt attention to our emails and requests, prior to arrival; and also for their kind assistance, recommendations and explanations during our time with you. A million thanks in particular to the lovely Kate. She has such a strong work ethic and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and well looked after. She is gracious and kind-hearted and made us feel so cherished. See you...
Read moreI will start by saying that this hotel has an excellent location to get anywhere! Whether you want to walk or take public transport, everything is easily reachable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, whether it was day or night and the rooms were incredibly spacious with comfy beds. We had breakfast here most days and found it pretty good, although the breakfast room layout could do with rearranging to make things easier to see and avoid the build up of traffic.
The only reason for a 4/5 review is we found this place to be a little bit of a cash grab for their 4-star rating, unlike lots of their local competitors. It's the small things that add to a stay somewhere, such as tea and coffee in the rooms or taking a couple of pieces from breakfast to have as a snack later in the day (I'm talking like an apple or two). However, the room had 1 free bottle of water and an espresso machine with 1 day free usage and to take any breakfast with you cost 12 euros. There was a bar at the front desk but for us personally, complimentary tea and coffee in our room after a long day of exploring the city are something we are accustomed to. As previously mentioned as well, similarly priced local competitors had this available. I was also a little disappointed that the gym was out of action during our stay. Our holiday provider contacted us to let us know the gym wasn't available temporarily but it seems to be more permanent from the painted-over signs in the lobby.
These are small things I am aware, and we did enjoy our stay here but just felt some of the extra fees were...

The hotel entrance is discreetly tucked between a restaurant and a coffee shop and opposite a KFC. Ot really is in the heart of the shopping action but is very quiet.
The foyer is very stylish and seems to be a focal point for social gatherings of guests. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful.
Or room was an OK size. We traveled as two adults and an infant and they had provided a travel cot and chosen a room with a bath for us. There wasn't a kettle in the room but the coffee machine can output hot water of you need or for tea or for hearing baby food etc.
Breakfast is ok. A decent selection with delicious crispy fried bacon. Local sausages are typical for the region but served only like lukewarm unfortunately. Plenty of cold cut options, yogurt and cereals.
Any negatives? Well the stand out negative had to be the bed. Rock hard. I travel a lot with work and am used to some pretty sterling comfortable beds. I suffer a bad back and generally rely on hotel beds to fix it. This bed, though, exacerbated my back - is just ridiculously firm. If I could encourage the hotel management to add some foam toppers it would make a massive transformation.
Apart from that, there is little to criticise. Ok so the shower head is a bit scaled up and there's a little bit of mold around the silicon in the bath but that's life.
Great hotel for everything but a comfortable...
