Was drinking in another bar and the bar manager recommended we try this place if we wanted a no fuss, reasonably priced burger. We visited the next night, the place is easy to find, close to the Hallgrímskirkja church. The menu is limited but if it's just a burger you want you won't be disappointed, there was also steak on the menu. The cheese was overpowering and somewhat sour - the "Hunt's" ketchup was also very sour. The beef itself was fine as were the onion rings (typical diner/cafe fare). The fries were very hit or miss as I think they must have combined some fresh ones with some older, colder ones ... the fresh/hit ones were tasty. The highlights were the dive bar vibe ... Johnny Cash even came up! Too bad as I was really looking forward to...
