I was extremely shocked and happy to find this place. There are a decent amount of places that sell vegan food in Reykjavik, however, to find authentic and genuine "Icelandic" vegan food is actually hard to come by. Most vegan food I've found tend to be of other nations.
I had a cheese roll, which I was informed is a a variation (different shape) of a bread cheese pastry. It was soooo delicious! Both my non-vegan friend and I agreed it was the best cheesy bread we've had. I'm normally not the biggest cheese lover, but it was tasty and not tooooo cheesy of a flavour.
We also both had traditional vegan versions of Icelandic cakes and my friend rh biscoff brownie which were all delicious.
The price is quite decent considering it's Iceland, I expected it to be more, especially since many vegan food in Iceland is just as expensive as non-vegan food.
The man who served us was extremely informative, patient and very kind. Would highly recommend! I'm just sad I was only able to go once seeing as they close at 5 and all tours finish and arrive by generally around 5ish, I just went once at 8am before...

I appreciate that items are brought to the tables in pretty ceramics. The whole cafe has a bright refreshing atmosphere to it, from all of the windows to the light decor.
From an accessibility standpoint, I did see the staff open up a ramp for a patron using a wheelchair to enter the space, and despite the coffee shop being on the smaller side, there was still room for that customer to come to the counter to order and flexible seating to be able to enjoy their visit at a table...

The cheese roll was warm and delicious. The coffee latte was delicious too. We got 2 cake slices to go which we enjoyed later and they were amazing. Super moist, flavorful and Devine! Love that this all vegan cafe can be found in the city!
They offer coffee drinks, baked goods and light meals that...
