Koko Scoop, Koramangala - A Sweet Surprise!
While exploring the buzzing streets of Koramangala, I stumbled upon Koko Scoopâwhat a delightful find! Donât be fooled by the humble size of this place; though itâs small, the atmosphere is cozy, warm, and totally inviting. Itâs simple yet charmingâjust the kind of spot that makes you want to stay and enjoy.
Now, hereâs the real treat: the way they serve their ice cream is a game-changer. They take a fresh coconut, scrape out the tender malai (the creamy inner coconut flesh), and then fill the shell with your choice of ice cream! The coconut shell isnât just for showâitâs part of the experience. Plus, they give you a glass of refreshing coconut water to sip on as you indulge in the creamy goodness. Itâs such a cool (and refreshing) touch that makes this place stand out!
What I Tried:
Tender Coconut - 3âď¸ This one was good, but not great. The coconut flavor was a bit underwhelming, and Iâve definitely had better versions elsewhere. But, what really saved it was the addition of the mango and coconut jellyâthose little bursts of flavor really kicked it up a notch.
Black Rose - 4.5âď¸ Wow. Iâve never had a Black Rose flavor before, and I was so curious about it. The gray color definitely threw me off, but let me tell youâlooks are deceiving. This one was packed with a burst of flavors, and the blueberry and coconut jelly toppings? Perfection. It was unique, refreshing, and absolutely delicious.
Koko Scoop is one of those hidden gems you have to visit in Koramangala. Itâs not just about the ice cream; itâs the whole experience. So if youâre in the area and craving something different, trust me, this place is a must-try! And donât forget to follow me for more sweet...

Read moreTried coconut shell ice cream â taste is good and something different. But I felt itâs a bit overpriced, and the place doesnât have a great vibe. The chairs and tables look like theyâre made for kids â very uncomfortable for adults to sit for long.
The guy at the counter also had a lot of attitude. Many of the ice creams from the menu werenât available, and when we asked again just to check, he replied quite rudely saying, âI already told you what's not there.â Also, they expect you to tell the flavours and toppings during billing itself â it would be much easier if they just took the money first and let us choose the scoops peacefully while filling scoops in cup. Would save time too.
Another thing â there are no names on the ice creams, so we donât know which flavour is which. When I asked, like âwhich one is black rose?â, he didnât even point to it properly. Just stood at the billing counter and said things like âthe last oneâ or âmiddle one,â which felt rude.
Overall, itâs worth trying once because the idea is unique and the coconut flavour is interesting. But the experience could have been...
