Having been a fan of Chung Wah for years, I was excited to finally visit this particular outlet. Stepping inside, I felt transported to a classic, no-frills eatery you might find on a bustling street in Shanghai. While the decor might seem a bit dated and cluttered to some, it adds to the restaurant's authentic, old-school charm.
And when it comes to what really matters—the food and the service—Chung Wah never disappoints. The waiters are attentive and friendly, offering genuine smiles and great recommendations. We had a fantastic meal, which included:
Spicy Korean Ramen Mixed Schezwan Fried Rice Chicken Wonton Soup Golden Fried Prawns Dan Dan Prawn Noodles Dan Dan Chicken Noodles Chicken Nam Prick Chung Wah Special Noodles
To drink, we had Thumbs Up, as their famous Chinese tea was unfortunately out of stock.
Every dish was a testament to Chung Wah's reputation. The flavors were incredible, the portions were generous, and the quality was top-notch. I can confidently say that Chung Wah's food is some of the best Chinese and Thai cuisine in Bangalore, easily surpassing even popular spots like Chowman.
This visit was another reminder of why I keep coming back. If you're looking for an authentic and delicious Chinese meal, you won't regret visiting any Chung Wah outlet. I'm already planning...
Read moreThis is one restaurant that has withstood the test of time. Over the years I have tried so many different places, some better some not so much; but the food here is consistently good. This is one big factor that works well for the restaurant- I know what I like here and when I order that dish it tastes exactly like I want it to. I have been there a few times but mostly the order is for delivery when the family is in mood for something different at home ; service is quick and portions are quite generous. Been there too a few times and I like the typical oriental theme (age shows but not really complaining). Overall a typical neighbourhood Chinese restaurant that serves good...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE this place. I've been eating here for the past 5 years. I've seen this place go through so many redesigns. But the ambience just gets better and better. The quality quantity everything is perfect. You MUST try the Leefu noodles, triple shezwan and the chilli panneer (shezwan panneer). The best you'll get anywhere. All other Chinese places make their dishes with excess oil and it just feels too heavy even though the quantity is far less. I eat here once in 2 weeks or so and I never ever get bored of their food. Real hygienic preparation and good and...
