So we went to this IDC restaurant which was recently opened in New BEL road...but to our misfortune this was such a worst experience. Had very high expectations as I've tried this restaurant in Indiranagar branch and was excited has started in our locality. My first impression was that "are the walls even painted" forget bout the ambience...the whole restaurant is in distortion...tables are not arranged in manner....no cleanliness...carefree with rude behaviour staff... management is not worth it. So since me n my friend are not good with ghee....and as the menu had with ghee and without ghee masala dosa with different price tags ..we opted without ghee masala dosa and by2 coffee....and the bill counter person gave our bill....but wen we received the food...we find it it's ghee masala dosa and wen asked thy are telling no we put ghee for everything...we asked the counter person... wherein he was least bothered to let us know that thy were preparing all the dishes with ghee....wen asked for y didn't u inform us before billing....and we clearly saw the menu n ordered...he nonchalantly replied no we have stopped....ok then plz refund us...then also no...we cannot...such rude behaviour..even for the by2 coffee....not available...arey y is there a menu containing which ur not providing us. Staff is least bothered to clean the table....on top that counter person isn't there....waited for him to come n take our order. Worst experience..not to mention OMG who even provides drumstick sambar which is used for rice for Dosa...the dosa was not hot...stale....yuck...wt not. Strongly recommend the IDC restaurant in New BEL road to please close ur resturant...ur not worth it.....plz don't spoil ur franchise quality prestige .....Shiv Sagar is 100 times better than urs...The one in Indiranagar was awesome....but here....worst...
Read moreDuring our recent visit to IDC Kitchen located at RMV 2nd Stage, 67, 80 Feet Rd, RMV 2nd Stage, KGEHBS Layout, Devasandra, Armane Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka, I observed that the cashier's behavior was somewhat peculiar as they appeared to be unable to provide satisfactory answers to our inquiries regarding the menu and the availability of certain items. Although the taste of the food was pleasing, I couldn't help but notice that the overall ambiance of the place could definitely benefit from being more hygienic and clean.
One thing that struck me as odd was the pricing strategy for the sambar dip idly - while other similar establishments charge the same price for dip idly, IDC Kitchen chose to set a higher price. This made me question the rationale behind such a price difference.
Furthermore, the service inside the restaurant left much to be desired, as the servers exhibited a sense of rudeness. Even when I asked extra chutney and assured them that I was willing to pay for it, they refused to accommodate my request. This lack of flexibility and unwillingness to cater to customer preferences left me feeling rather disappointed with my experience at IDC Kitchen. It was disheartening to see that the staff seemed more focused on sticking to rigid protocols rather than ensuring customer satisfaction by accommodating...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews...only when it really makes an impact, positive or negative...Went with high expectations..we as south indians can say that the quality was not great..very disappointed..now for the detailed review.... First, when we ordered idli, we got thatte idli, next, there was no green chutney, even though it was not even near closing time..we were forced to eat with the red Chutney that we dislike. Third, the thatte idli was gluelike & not great, nearby thatte idli shop is a lot better. Fourth, we had to wait for 20minutes and got one idli in a plate, as against 2 which was served in residency road (which was good) Ordered for jaggery coffee (which was the only way in residency road idc) but got with sugar and the service was horrible there. They refused to replace. Ordered for masala dosa and they had just smeared 2 mm of masala on it, and what’s more, the dosa was sour and unpalatable. The other branch in Residency road was way better. Wonder why the menu is not standardized, as it’s the same chain. Maybe for people who don’t know good South Indian food, this place could be good. ..but in truth it’s below average and there are other great eateries nearby with better food and experience. Ps: I’m a connoisseur and always on the lookout...
