LIT Gastropub Church Street — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Worst experience ever , extremely bad service they don't even know what we have ordered just need to follow up ourselves by giving several remainders And the SADDEST part is that we have been their couple of times and we sat for more than 3hrs everytime. Not a single KANNADA song is being played even after kindly requesting the DJ and the staff members . Totally frustrated it was, firstly they'll convince us by telling we'll play after 11PM ,fine we patiently waited till the time he play ,it was 11:30pm and again he started convincing us by saying after couple of songs we'll play it's in the playlist okay fine we again did the same mistake by listening to his words but no they were not at all considering our request . Firstly our mistake was by requesting them to play Kannada song why the hell we need to request them to play the songs. It's their basic common sense to play the regional language songs . Awful hospitality by the management.Please don't consider this place to spend your precious time here neither recommend to your family members or friends. Majorly please don't promote this kind of places in our social platforms they don't deserve it because they are not at all ready to respect their land from where they are earning handful of money neither the staff members speaks Kannda nor understand it,they don't even understand Kannada so please learn Hindi before visiting to this place . Let's just ban ourselves by visiting here . PATHETIC...

HORRIBLE UNSAFE DISASTER!!!

ADVICE: This place might be popular on Church Street but be very aware & think twice specially if you're going with your female friends.

PERSONAL INCIDENT: We were a group of some friends hanging out in Church Street. We decided to try this place as it had a dance floor. First, they told to pay entry charges, but no redeemable coupon was provided against the entry amount by the staff. Anyway, we paid & went inside to enjoy sometime.

We ordered a few drinks (within our capacities) & headed to the dance floor. However, after sometime we realised that there were some ANTI-SOCIAL & LOW-KEY guys who were constantly staring & INAPPROPRIATELY dancing to try to make a move on girls. There was no staff or bouncers present on the dance floor to complain about this. We came in the corner away from the crowd. Even after trying to keep our female friends safe, someone TOUCHED one of the female present in our group & disappeared in the crowd.

As soon as the she told us about this incident, we rushed out of there & reported this to Manager. Unfortunately, he took no action despite a lot of arguments. We decided not to escalate this to police & came back.

Please avoid going this place...

I'm extremely disappointed with the repeated unprofessional behavior of the manager Kumar at Lit Gastro Pub. This is not a one-time issue — over the past six months, every time I’ve visited with friends, I’ve had a negative experience because of him. I had considered leaving a review earlier, but kept letting it go, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, nothing has changed.

The manager Kumar, consistently behaves inappropriately. He often stares at me and my girlfriend in a way that makes us feel very uncomfortable. He’s rarely seen at the billing counter unless it’s a Saturday — only then, because the owner is present. Most of the time, he’s on the dance floor, which is unusual and unprofessional for someone in his position.

This kind of behavior has completely turned us off from visiting Lit again. If this continues, I will strongly advise my friends and others to avoid this place as well. I sincerely request the owner to take this seriously — either warn or replace the manager before more customers are driven away. We are regularly customer from past 6 month, now I lost interest on LIT, because of the manager you’re loosing...
