As my friend and I were taking a stroll through Indiranagar last Sunday evening, Pecos caught my eye, and I insisted we absolutely had to stop by on our way back home to grab a beer (and a meaty snack, I thought to myself).
My friend is the best host—never says no to anything I want to do—and we both love Pecos, though we’d never been to this one. We usually go to the one on Commercial Street (if I’m not mistaken—I’m only a frequent visitor to Bangalore and can never quite get the hang of this ‘forever-in-monsoon’ city).
After running some errands and picking up chocolate from Smoor, just around the corner, we started heading toward Pecos, with me gleaming and beaming with joy. As we walked up the stairs, I told my friend, “Are you ready to walk into Rock ’n’ Roll?”—because I expected nothing less from this legendary place, a business that feels entirely out of its time, in this unfortunate age where rock is, sadly, nearly dead.
No matter how much Neil Young assured us that “Rock ’n’ Roll will never die” in Hey Hey, My My (Out of the Blue)—one of my favourite songs of his—it’s hard not to slip into a nostalgic, dreamlike state imagining what the golden age of rock must have been like.
And walking into Pecos was exactly what I had hoped for: like stepping into a more chilled-out past, with familiar old rock playing, people lounging without airs, casually dressed in t-shirts, shorts, or even better—denims. The beer was ice-cold, the beef was tender, and the waiter was an absolute sweetheart, making sure to top up our glasses as soon as they ran low on Bia!
I only wish a few old-school Bangalore rock ’n’ roll lovers had dropped by—those who might still come out, get a little drunk, and get nostalgic with us about the good old days. Maybe next time...
Until then, don’t forget Pecos, dear readers. They’re keeping alive a culture that’s teetering on the...

Yes! If you want some peaceful place without the the Bollywood beats and want to have some drink with some good food then definitely this is the place. Food - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food was definitely worth it. Ordered Coorgi pork and beef and it was really well done. the Kerala style beef was cooked to the perfection. Their dosa with beef curry was definitely lip-smacking. Price is definitely economical and order to delivery was quick didn't had to wait for long. Ambience - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Most of the time has been here is in the evening the Ambience is bit dark but with most of the music ok bands poster as a decorative. Soft rock music being played in the background which definitely is highlight. Felt kinda homely feeling and very comfortable. The view from the table of the roads is much better. Staff - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Of most of my reviews it's very few places that get 4 star on staff rating and this is one of them. Staff are so friendly and polite. Always ready to help you and has a good knowledge of the menu and are suggestive...

1st November is a holiday in the state of Karnataka for most of the people, so had to utilise this day for visiting a new place.
Pecos had recently made up on my list after hearing about it from a friend.
Ambience: The ambience gives a retro look. It doesn't looks like any other posh Pub of that area. Its quite simple in this regards and is a place where people can get drunk and relax. It somewhat looks like old school bars.
Staff/Service: The staff is quick in their service. Quite friendly too.
Food/Beverages: In starters we ordered Chilli Babycorn, Chicken Ghee Roast and Mix Veg Noodles. In beverages we took 4 mugs of Budweiser Premium. The Babycorn was so spicy and tasty that I can still feel the taste. The Ghee Roast was great too. Even the Noodles were awesome. The beer was also smooth. So basically loved everything we ordered.
The only problem which I faced was, before going there I did not know that this place serves only Beer in alcohol. There is nothing else, no other alcohol, no other cocktails. Though 1-2 mocktails is available. So people like me who are not a beer person will have a problem there. Other than that this place is amazing with great food being...
