Excellent pasta. Other food was just okay. . Poor service. No greetings upon arrival/departure. Staff seemed unfriendly. Somewhat like they hate their job. We had to call them every time to even clear plates or give water they were not at all attentive. To take order initially, he handed the menu and left. Neither did he ask us choice of seating or how was the food. We had to wait for him to appear again after many minutes and give the order. He had no information on menu or suggestions based on requirements. Water served was warm . Didn't even have cold water. . Food had Okayish presentation. . Ambience : 2/5. Too hot . They have table fans ( both indoor and outdoor. No AC or ceiling fan at least indoors) here and there which isn't sufficient. They can work on making ambience better as they have both indoor and outdoor seating. . No music at all. . Pink panther pasta tasted very good. The creaminess was a heaven in my mouth. But disappointed with the colour and presentation. . Burger was good. The potato wedges along was sweetish which was a disappointment. No cutlery given for having wedges. They were not ready to make slight customisation in spite of being ready to.pay extra. Before even we completed half sentence, they said a big NO. Staff should work on listening skills. . Crème brûlée was average. Crème was bland. Sugar coating was too thin. The fish served was so damn hot that I got a burn on my finger touching it. They didn't even warn us. And I never saw a dish being so hot for crème brûlée. . Pasta wasn't served to plate. Again no cutlery given . . Finally they didn't let us know what time they close kitchen. We still wanted to order two more desserts. The steward straight away brought bill. Without even asking if we were done. And they levied 10% service charge. When we said we are not happy with the service , and won't pay service charge, the steward kept arguing that they have displayed the board and we MUST pay. We calmly explained him that it's customer's discretion and he can't force us to pay with such bad service. Still he was like, you have to pay. Then we only had to suggest him to discuss with his manager and check if it can be taken out. Finally he took it out. And when I was trying to tell him few things, he made and ugly , angry face and turned away.

What? Is this the way they treat...

This is a complaint against a server called Hussain at the White Room. After I had my food in the afternoon. The man came with a bill and a machine. He took out some paper from the machine and held it in his hand and said " give me the card". I said please throw that paper away. I said "Don't use my card with a crushed paper in your hand". He sulked and said, "it is just an old paper. What is your problem?" I told him to throw the paper in the dustbin first as that is not professional. He looked at me in an intimidating manner and said "What!" I repeated my request. He mocked at me first and then grunted and put the paper in his pocket and said "Ok, now give me that card". I told him that he was downright rude and he said repulsed, "Ok Ok". The bill was processed and the payment was made. I went to the hotel inside to complain against him at the lobby. The gentleman in the lobby heard my complaint. I told him that he refused to throw the paper. He wanted to use my card with the paper that he had crushed. I wanted him to put that away and not hold my card with that torn paper and how he mocked at me. As I was narrating this incident, this man Hussain entered and looked at us and grinned. He interrupted. I told him not to interrupt as I was narrating it. The gentleman in the reception told him that he ought not to talk in such an inappropriate manner. Hussain sneered at us and hurled an abuse from a distance and left the place. The person in the lobby told me that immediate action will be taken as this is a serious conduct problem. He also told me that the man who misbehaved was Hussain. Please take immediate action. He even hurled abuse and sneered. To the owner. Please...

I must highlight that my recent breakfast experience was exceptional thanks to the remarkable intervention of Sumon Debnath, Senior Captain of The White House Room

His professionalism and customer service are truly deserving of recognition and praise. He ensured that every detail was perfect, greatly contributing to making this breakfast a memorable experience.

The blend of French breakfast refinement and American generosity was executed flawlessly. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into an elegant and relaxed setting, reminiscent of a Parisian terrace in the heart of Bangalore.

From banana waffles to fluffy pancakes, and delicious omelets, not to mention the watermelon juice and cold caramel coffee, everything was exquisite. The pastries were delicate, and each dish was served with meticulous attention to detail. The staff, both professional and discreet, made the experience even more enjoyable with impeccable service that was not intrusive.

However, I did notice a downside regarding the receptionist, who lacked professionalism by stating that the wifi was completely unavailable, even though it appears to be accessible to hotel residents. Those wishing to work on-site should therefore look for an alternative.

The ambiance was ideal, with Deep House music playing in the background, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. It truly felt like being on a Parisian terrace, surrounded by the gentle hum of the city. This was undoubtedly one of the best breakfast experiences I have had, and I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a moment of pleasure...

With the holiday season in full swing and a welcome break from the usual office traffic, I decided to do something that brings me joy and happiness: explore a new breakfast spot. This time, my quest led me to " The White Room" on Church Street. It is a charming cafe that promises a serene breakfast experience. As soon as you step in, the ambiance is what strikes you. This coffee & kitchen cafe lives up to its name, with a minimalist yet artistic all-white theme that creates a peaceful, almost ethereal vibe. It’s the kind of space that feels perfect for an early morning breakfast or a relaxing coffee break. Opening at 8 AM and with Christmas Eve festivities keeping crowds at bay, I had the place almost to myself, which made for a wonderfully calm experience. I ordered their Cheese Olive Omelet, toast, and an Americano to start my day. The omelet, though decent, was a bit underwhelming, nothing extraordinary to write home about. The toast, unfortunately, was a letdown too, just basic packaged bread, with a few burnt edges. The Americano, while not terrible, didn’t quite hit the mark either. Despite the somewhat average meal, what truly shines here is the ambiance. Whether you prefer an indoor seat or an open space, there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The White Room is definitely worth a visit for its calming atmosphere, though I wouldn’t say it's a breakfast destination for food enthusiasts compared to few of its competitors in the vicinity.
