If you ever enjoyed visiting circus as a kid, you should definitely check out this newly opened circus-themed pub which has got everything - amazing ambiance, delicious food, refreshing drinks and great hospitality, making your evening perfect. Being in a group of 9 people, we ordered a lot of dishes and all of them were equally scrumptious with a lovely presentation. Adorned with red colored pretty curtains and astonishing wall art, this place will make you feel nostalgic about those lovely childhood days. A big shout-out to Mr. Lucky who was waiting our table and was always available to take our orders and even suggested us some pretty strong drinks like I wanted to have on a hectic Tuesday night. In appetizers, I had Melted Cheese Spring Rolls which were a perfect combination of cheese and vegetables in a crispy coating. Next was Bennedoffles - this was something unique I had at TFT which was yummy idlis in the shape of waffles served with peanut chutney and ghee podi. Coming to the main course, I started with Daal Makhani and Garlic Naan - a perfect finger-licking combination for a person like me who loves Daal Makhani. I also tried Aglio Olio Spaghetti - I enjoyed having my favorite pasta too but would have preferred it with some garlic and Olive oil. In drinks, I enjoyed sipping on TBC Memories - A Lychee based refreshing cocktail mixed with the right proportions of Vodka, Rum, Gin and Tequila. Another on my list was Chic Beach – a perfect combination of Triple Sec, Bacardi, White Wine with Passion Fruit and Lime Juice. If you are looking for a strong rum-based drink, then go for this delicious cocktail. We concluded the perfect meal with some scrumptious desserts including Gulab Jamun Truffles and Guilty Chocolate Chip Mousse Jar both of which were exceptionally good and I personally loved the heavenly, rich jar of chocolate chip with mousse.

The Flying Trapeze - New Place Alert, Another pub added in the pub culture of Koramangala 5th Block. A Circus Themed restaurant which will bring back the childhood memories. Ambiance is huge with a mezzanine floor. It's quite an artistic, decorated with animals pictures, dazzling red lights and comfortable seats which can easily occupy a quite a number of people at a time. Coming to the food, Menu is curated with abundant veg and non-veg options of Continental, North Indian, Chinese, Modern Indian & Asian cuisines. We started with Bennedoffles [Highly Recommedate] & veg Nachos. Bennedoffles - Waffle shaped crispy idli was bang on and was crisp to perfection served along with peanut chutney & ghee podi. A Must try, full marks for the innovation. Veg Nachos - tortilla chips covered with 3 types of melted cheese topped with luscious combo of refrito beans and pico de gallo. Amazing in taste. Nachos are also available with grilled chicken & texas beef chilli options. In non-veg starters, we opted for Chicken Yakitor & Arcot spiced lamb chops. Chicken Yakitor- Japanese Style grilled chicken skewers with soy sauce and mirin. Chicken chunks had a hint of sweet & spice to it. Tasty and refreshing to be precise. Arcot spiced lamb chops - A little twisted lamb chops, marinated with arcot spice, cooked twicely in Ghee served along with 3 different types of mezze dips. Talking about the taste, it was delicious. Coming to the main course, I ordered Railway Mutton curry, a proper vintage dish, found at railway canteens went pretty well with garlic naan. Ended of our meal with their special dessert called Gulab Jamun Truffles, one of the best unique dessert. Gulab Jamun & strawberries coated with chocolate topped with saffron rabri & chocolate chips. Too indulging, ended up loving it. The service is top notch. Overall an unique & amazing experience.

Phew.. there is a circus up there !! This is the tagline which welcomes you to this new circus theme restaurant located in prime location at 5th block Koramangala decorated in red dominantly with 2 floors sitting area . The staff is humble and service is quite fast. With the increasing temperature of Bangalore, you always want to start your meal with something cold. Watermelon Martiny was my choice. Refreshing, less sweetened as requested , with fresh watermelon was a calming experience. Popcorn is there welcome starters for everyone. Nachos here are loaded with cheese and tastes yum. Bennedoffles ( Idly Waffles ) was a creative dish. A must try for all south Indian food lovers. It gave the hints of chilly idly in taste. Crispy corn nibbles , another dish which had a great presentation. Crispy corn were served in small edible bowls which were crunchy and delicious. Grilled Veg lasagne was pretty average. Have had better version of this dish in many other places. Veg spaghetti was good as always. But nothing could beat raw papaya and mango salad. Each bite entice you into another, absolutely delicious. Desserts are a treat here. Gulab jamun truffles is a must try for all dessert lovers. It has something for all. Gulab jamun and strawberries coated with chocolate and served with rabdi and vermicelli. It is delectable and mouth watering. Chocolate mousse melts in your mouth and was my favourite here.

We all as a kid would have definitely visited a circus and yeah still we hold those memories in our hearts. The Vibrant colours, clowns, animals, trapeze acts, Magicians etc are the things which strikes our mind when we think of it. Well here's the newbie in Koramangala right next to Brooks & Bonds with the circus theme which is a mixture of Food & Fun. Best time to visit is on weekends where you can see the Magician doing his thing, the Clown juggling around, the Candy bar, the Caricature artist who would be more than happy to portray you, this amazing man at the bar counter who does fire acts and the elephant decors. Here's what we ate :

Melted cheesy spring rolls : Crispy rolls filled with cheese served with mint mayonnaise and a sweet-spicy dip.

Bennedoffles : This is a MUST try. Unique one. The waffles made out of idly batter Served with the red and green chutney. One amazing creation.

Zatar spiced baby potatoes : Baby potatoes marinated in the zatar spices. Tasted really good. Loved the flavours.

Paneer Pinwheels : Paneer rolls with coriander & cashew pesto served with the mint mayonnaise. Couldn't get the flavours exactly.

Veg Nachos : Some good ones after a long time.

Pork Ribs vindaloo : The pork was cooked very well. And the sauces made it more tastier. You can choose the sauce on your own. Meat was very tender and good to eat. The vindaloo gravy gives it the unique taste with spiced corn and potato hash.

Arcot spiced lamb chops : pan fried in ghee and served with the Mezze dips. The lamb is slow cooked and properly cooked which made it more scrumptious.

Beef Albondigas con salsa : beef meatballs with grilled cheese. The meat was amazing and this meatball version of it is something I tried for the first time.

Smoked Salmon : Focaccia toast topped with smoked salmon, pickles onions served with Wasabi sauce.

Nori wrapped salmon : the salmon wrapped with the Japanese sea weed nori served with the black rice. Could feel the authenticity. Not everyone would like this but yes the salmon is all matters. Loved the black rice too.

Roti, Dal and Railway mutton curry : The soul food. Indian main course. Loved their mutton curry.

Shepherd's pie : Minced lamb topped with the mashed potatoes and baked🤤 Have it when it's hot and you would love this.

Their menu is vast and they have many interesting dishes which are unique. Would love to try more new things.

The drinks were good too. Strong ones and the presentation is impressive. Loved the Guava blast, Miami beach and the Mudslide.

Among the desserts we had the Gulab Jamun Truffles. One amazing dessert.Chocolate coated gulab jamun and strawberries served on a saffron Rabri with Chocolate chips.A MUST try.

The service was excellent....

The flying trapeze is a circus themed restaurant and bar with special emphasis on moving circus appeal. The place specialises in mixed cuisine with major items having an Indian fusion. The place is mostly an open air setup letting one dine in an breezy setup. It's located next to Tanishq showroom. On weekends, TFT lets one enjoy in a full circus affair with performances related to a real circus.

AMBIENCE They have bar counter and cotton candy setup with wheels giving a justified look to the theme. The ambience is mostly red with jumbo elephant caricatures on the walls as well as poles. Seating is vivid, have cushion base based as well as long chairs. The music played is light and good and the place has a semi dark hue.

FOOD and DRINKS

Arancini of bisebelle bath This dish was a south India fusion speciality prepared in the form of balls served with flavored mayo, tasted nothing like the rice bisebelle bath and that's why I admired it. Was presented well in a mini idli metal dish.

Bennedoffles This is another south Indian fusion dish, idlis served in the form of waffles on sticks with yummy peanut chutney and ghee based chutney. Loved it however would have preferred some spicier or stuffed version of idlis.

Nachos veg Probably the best nachos ever, too damn cheesy and with well spiced kidney beans.

Russian chicken patties These were yum and had a mixed chicken and veggies filling, juicy thanks to the cheesiness, however could have been a bit more on spices, were delicious but could have been spiced up a bit.

Bhure lahsoon ka paneer tikka Absolutely delicious, beautifully tender and real nice in quantity, was served with green mint chutney.

TBC memories This was a lychee based Cocktail, well spiced and well balanced in flavor.

Mudslide Had cream and dash of chocolate, this was probably the best Cocktail I tried here, being a fan of such creamy chocolaty and coffee based drinks.

Chicken hakimi Semi dry chicken masala main course dish, had a real unique flavor and running high on spices. Had this with roti and was the best from the mains here.

Gulab jamun truffles So this had strawberries and chocolate syrup laced gulab jamuns in a bath of saffron rabri, rabri being a bit oversweet. Otherwise an interesting and unique dessert.

Service and costing Found the place rather economical, not as expensive as neighbouring brands of similar dining standards. Service is appreciable, staff courteous, dressed well and took...

A new addition to Koramangala 5th block with a circus and acrobatics themed open air and rooftop pub is surely not a miss. On the main roads of Koramangala, this lit up building is sure to catch your eyes.

Beverages A rather huge menu for cocktails and drinks. My recommendations are as follows : 🔹TBC Memories 🔹Gimlet 🔹Mint Jungle 🔹Red Velvet

Starters The starters here are at par with imagination as well as taste. Innovative and delicious at the same time. Vegetarian dishes surely caught everyone's attention on the table. The recommended ones :

🔹Aracini of Bisibille Bath - Just imagine fried cheesy balls of bisibelle bath and just perfect taste. 🔹Benedoffles - Waffle shaped idlis with best of peanut chutney. 🔹Harissa Spice Paneer Kebab - One of the softest paneer cubes I have had in Bangalore. Perfect marination. A must try 🔹Nachos Veg - nachos topped with 3 kinds of cheese is just perfect. 🔹Russian Chicken Pattice - A blended sauce chicken dish. 🔹Chicken Yakitor - Perfect blend sauce chicken skewers 🔹Smoked Salmon - an innovative but not up to the mark. The overall taste was little off. The starters were delicious and best of the lot I have tired in a long time.

Main Course

🔹We tried the Chicken Hakimi with the Khameeri Naan in the main course which was delicious. A dry gravy and well-cooked chicken was mouthwatering. 🔹The green Thai curry along with rice was not as appetizing as we expected. The gravy was thin and watery with minimal amounts of coconut milk and different vegetables than usual.

Desserts 🔹Being not a fan of desserts, we only tried the one Gulab Jamun Truffles - which was a combination od cut gulab jamuns, strawberry on a bed of saffron rabri and chocolate shavings. A little too sweet for me.

A must try out a place for their innovative starters. After long we found a place which takes care of the dishes coming out of their kitchen and don't shy away...
