I never write bad reviews but I just had to write about this experience. So we had made reservation at the restaurant for 9:30. When we reached there the place was full and they had asked us to wait for few minutes. We decided to check out the terrace as it is supposed to be beautiful. It was beautiful, the entire place is beautifully lit and the atmosphere is like that of an actual vintage yet luxurious haveli. Great atmosphere. But that was the only good part. It was almost 10 when they finally gave us a seat, but the table was not cleaned, used napkins and glasses. After several requests no one on the staff cleaned it out or offered us a menu, not even water was served. We had to go and fetch a staff member and ask him to serve. The staff members and servers were busy catering to the non local patrons ( the places is full of foreigners) in the restaurant and had already started prepping for 10:30 closing. By the time we even got the menu they were ready for closing and many items from the menu like chefs tasting menu was not available anymore. 10:30 closing time, by the way bookings were available for even 10:45pm on zomato. The service was horrible, the servers were blatantly ignoring our signals. The food was bland, tasteless and not justified for the price listed. The dishes they served were incomplete, like the chutnies and salads were not provided until requested that too after multiple requests. Overall experience with food and service was extremely disappointing. It was a bummer considering we had high expectations as the reviews have been good for the restaurant. It is supposedly the best, I don’t get it. The breads were undercooked. The spiciest dish on the menu was also bland. The gravies were dull, proportions were off, I don’t understand what they were charging for. The fingerbowls and the bill was provided after multiple reminders again. Even before we had placed the order some server had told us that it was closing time for them. They had started switching off the lights and closing off areas while we were still dining. The place is overhyped, an attraction only for the interior and ambience. Don’t expect a hearty family meal...
Read moreI had my first experience at Indian Accent which was wow then Masala Library and recently this place!
But this place disappointed me in the terms of food and in the terms of ambience it's good and for that only I am giving it more than 1 stars. We went out here on Friday and took the chef special menu. Being at royal places like mentioned above I had a good expectations with this place too as it has high charges - 2400/Veg and 2800/N.Veg.
I had a vegetarian one so I was lucky then the N.Veg ones becoz they were also served around 50% of the Veg Dishes only :D. Even the things like biryani were common for both veg and non veg.
The course start with Kanji Paani, Palak Patta, Dahi-Bhalla and 2 Starters - Galuati Kebab & Some corn-gobi. THATS IT! You variety end before you start. The worst part is all tasted very average with no presentations and food is taste is very normal as compared to any other small place!!
Now coming to main course- Paneer was way too sweet, Aloo-Gobhi was pathetic, dal was good which made us fill the stomach and we don’t need to eat outside thank fully!
It was in my wishlist for 2-3 months and my experience ended like this. It was quite disappointing but cannot help!
Dessert we were served a normal kesar kulfi nothing exceptional about that too. Overall if you haven’t been to jaipur or such places and is excited to see havelis then you can visit but its not a...

I recently visited this restaurant with my wife, hoping for a nice evening out. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing, largely due to the poor service and misleading behavior by the staff—especially a waiter named Pradeep.
When we were seated, Pradeep handed us a very limited menu and told us that all dishes could only be ordered as part of a fixed package priced at ₹4800 per person. We found this a bit unusual but decided to go along with it. Things took a turn when we were told that sharing food between the two of us was not allowed. This was both surprising and unreasonable—especially considering we were a couple dining together.
We asked for the regular menu to see other options, but the staff flatly refused, claiming that the package menu was the only one available. At that point, feeling misled and uncomfortable, we decided to leave. Only then did waiter suddenly produce a full menu with a wider selection and à la carte pricing—something we were denied just moments earlier.
This kind of manipulative behavior is completely unacceptable. It felt like we were being forced into an overpriced package without transparency, and the sudden change of tone once we tried to leave was unprofessional at best.
I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest, welcoming...
