Club 8 Kondapur — Restaurant in Hyderabad

I have been here before and it was based on my past pleasant experiences that I visited again with my friend, but this time it was a completely opposite experience for me. To start with, the person who was taking the order was extremely poor in terms of his hospitality skills, it seemed liked he was doing a favour to us by taking the order. Since it was a rooftop restro, so it was a pleasant windy weather in the evening with a slight possibility of rains later, to my shock the person who took the order straightaway asked for prepaid payment, as I asked since when this has started as I have been to roof top restros before and never have been asked in such a way, so he justified his reason as being and i quote his words in the snarky tone he used while saying "it has started from now itself and it will rain, so what if u left, who will i ask for payment later", I was utterly shocked to hear such a thing being said by a waiter to a customer and he was clearly implying that I would run away without paying, which was very disrespectful. Nonetheless I didnt argue with him and asked him politely to bring the POS machine for card payment, for that again he retorted that "I can't bring the machine, u have to go the counter and pay or give ur card "PIN", at this point I was really annoyed because I have been here before and they did bring the POS machine each time, so clearly this waiter had some issues and was showing too much of arrogance, hence I asked him where is your manager, to which he exclaimed there is no manager here! Since my time was already wasted and mood was killed instantly with such shambolic behaviour on his part, I thought its best not to talk to him anymore. So I just went ahead and paid at the counter and had my order. The chicken drumsticks were delicious, but since the hospitality prior to that was so obnoxious and shocking I did not enjoy my time at all and I think this is the best feedback I could give so that others who read this don't have to go through such shocking experience in case they visit this...

It's always been a budget-friendly option, allowing everyone to have a good time without worrying about their wallet. The music sets the perfect vibe for a night out, whether you're dancing the night away or just catching up with friends. However, I must mention that there's been a noticeable drop in the food quality during my recent visits, which is a bit disappointing. Additionally, the cleanliness on the top and 4th floors has been somewhat lacking, not living up to the standards one would hope for. Club 8 is an okay place, but my experience left me with mixed feelings. the food was surprisingly good. Despite my initial reservations, I found myself enjoying the dishes they served. It's definitely a plus if you're looking for some decent grub.

However, when it comes to the overall value, things start to fall short. The prices they charge just don't seem justified by what they offer. The ambiance and quality of the place don't quite match up to what you'd expect for the amount you're paying.
