If you're craving authentic Telugu biryanis and pulao, Telugu Aromas is the place to be. With a concise yet focused menu, they deliver a variety of flavorful, spicy dishes that offer exceptional value for money.
We discovered this gem during a Saturday evening shopping trip at the same complex. Finding the place and parking was hassle-free, and the restaurant's multiple branches across the city make it even more accessible. Surprisingly, it was fairly empty at 8:30 PM—possibly due to being a newer establishment—but that made for a peaceful dining experience.
The ambience perfectly matches the restaurant's value-driven theme—simple, spacious, and comfortable. The menu features a straightforward selection of veg and non-veg biryanis, pulao, and a handful of appetizers. Since we wanted to try a variety but weren’t very hungry, my wife and I opted for the veg combo biryani, which included gutti vankaya, paneer, and soya kheema.
Our order arrived swiftly and came with both pulao and spicy biryani rice. The flavors were absolutely spot on—bold, spicy, and irresistibly delicious! We were literally sweating from the heat but enjoyed every bite. At just ₹299 for a combo generous enough for two to share, the value was unbeatable.
Impressed, we decided to take away the jeera rice and soya kheema biryani, which were equally delightful. Spending around ₹550 for two dishes that packed so much flavor felt like a steal!
Overall, Telugu Aromas offers an authentic and unpretentious Telugu food experience. While it isn’t a fancy spot, it’s a hidden treasure for anyone seeking genuine, down-to-earth flavors in a relaxed setting—and...
Read moreI recently visited Telugu Aromas Restaurant and was very disappointed with my experience. We ordered the Chicken Fry Piece Biryani and Non-Veg Thali, and neither dish was worth the price.
Non-Veg Thali included: Chicken Fry Prawns Half Egg Mutton Keema
Unfortunately, the food quality was quite poor. The rice in both dishes was overcooked, very sticky, and had no taste. The Chicken Fry Piece Biryani was bland and lacked the rich flavors that one would expect from such a dish. The Non-Veg Thali was equally disappointing. The chicken fry was dry, the prawns were overcooked and rubbery, the half egg was cold, and the mutton keema was too oily and lacked seasoning.
The worst part of the experience was the service. We had to take a token and wait for our food, which was quite inconvenient. Given that we traveled all the way from Balapur, motivated by the enticing Instagram reels of the restaurant, the experience was even more frustrating. The reels did not reflect the actual quality of food and service at all.
Overall, our visit to Telugu Aromas Restaurant was a huge letdown. The food was mediocre at best, and the service needs significant improvement. I would not recommend this restaurant based on...
