PROS: Perfect home-like south Indian meals on a banana leaf with traditional dishes. Affordable price for any range of customers. Unlimited rice, rasam and sabhar. Home of the iconic Krishna Bhavan Rasam. Super-fast service and nearly zero waiting time. Cool environment and good parking facility under shade. Payasam on Sundays. If you are looking for a home-like tasty food for a good price, this is the place you want to be.
CONS: Overseeing staff is not very polite with the customers. They expect you to sit where they direct you to, and if you choose to ignore them, be ready to receive some mean comments. If you have OCD, not a place to be. You have to compromise cleanliness to some extent. Not good for groups or families as the seating is not in accordance to a gathering or group. Chat over meal is not a common sight. Very noisy especially when crowded. Please note, customers contribute to less than 10% of the noise and rest comes from the overseers and staff. If you are OK with the very old building, great.
Tip: As soon as you go there, get the meal tickets from the counter at the corner. Curd costs extra. Usually not that crowded, but cannot guarantee. Try not to mess with...

They do not start to serve until the room is 3/4 filled and then they start to serve!
Alot of people in the room so the service might be a little slow and thus the servers are also in a hurry to rush to serve every customer. The place is literally old and nostalgic and the food was amazing and good quality! It's a place to eat and run for sure!
BUT MUST VISIT FOR THE 80S AND...
