Maya sea food is a wonderful place with in the heart of the city that offers the traditonal GSB as well as the Tuluva style fish and muttton, egg or chicken delicacies at an absolutely affordable price. It is situated on the 2nd floor and can can be easily accessed by using elevator. The place is pretty spacious inside and one of the better options among the available around this place, to grab a quick meal especially during busy lunch hours. The place is clean and hygienic and dis follow most of the covid 19 protocols. There is however difficulty in finding a parking space during the peak hours. May be the restaurant should work on this with adequate staff to guide us to their parking.
The fish meals offered and side items of fish were pretty tasty. Also, they were spicy as well.. the chicken kebab and biryani were also tasty, but quantity wasn't adequate for the price, hence the restaurant should should on improving the same. Maya Chef's special contains various delicacies choose from.

Must say the Kodaki Masala fry was awesome as the fish was very fresh.
Marvai sulks was really well made, lovely coconut masala and right hint of spices.
Also not to miss the green roast preparation (we tried just rightly cooked tender squids) and it was finger licking good, honestly one of the best I tried so far...
The special fish Thai is value for money( comes with 2vegetables, dry kismuri/ chutney, pickles , sendige, rice, fish curry , marvai Sukka, a piece of fried fish and squid chili ). It’s really satisfying but if one needs more fish on the plate you need to order separately.
We had some Kokum sar and spiced butter milk which were nice too.
The mango kulfi to satisfy our sweet tooth was delicious.

Read moreAt the outset, let me say that the manager and waiters were really kind and gentle, with a broad smile. But that couldn't save me from the horror that I witness there. I ordered Anjal biriani and the fish was rotten. I mean I know that people freeze the fish for a long duration and I can't expect it to be fresh. No problem. But a rotten fish was served. I called the manager and he promptly apologised and got me a different one, it was still the same. Then I realised that the thier whole batch of anjal fish was rotten and they had no clue about it or they may have been asked to pass it off to unsuspecting customers like me. I am not sure. But I had enough of it, so I asked them to do a parcel of the second biriani and threw it on the dustbin on my way home! Saddened with the loss of money. I hope my stomach stays OK after eating this, don't want a stomach infection or anything. Loss of 250 is fine. Anyways. Long story short, it was a horrible experience. The smile of the manager and a kind server was the only...
