I'm a huge burger fan and I say a burger a day keeps d Gym away😅

Recently we visited Burger Lounge in Palarivattom, Vadakara & Thalassery. Palarivattom & Thalassery was dine-in and Vadakara was take away on the way to Thalassery.

Ambience : Palarivattom has good seating and nice ambience for family to dine peacefully while Thalassery was much more open.

Food : We ordered quite the same stuff from all 3 locations which was Cheesy Chicken, XXX Beef, Hotdog, Crispy Chicken(Thalassery), Fries, Salad(Palarivattom) & Mojito.

Review : The burgers from Palarivattom was awesome as we had ordered twice especially Cheesy Chicken which was fresh, hot and filled with major veggies. Being a beef lover, I enjoyed my XXX beef. The only drawback was Mojito. None of us liked it. I would rate them 5. Vadakara was take away during our journey, we ordered only Cheesy Chicken and felt same as Palarivattom.

Now to my hometown Thalassery. Sorry to say but the worst experience we had. None of us liked any of the burgers. Myself being a Beef lover, had ordered XXX beef(last picture). Honestly it felt stale. They said it was freshly cooked, but it was not hot, bread felt old, and not at all pleasing to eat. I did complain to the manager who was ready to change the same for me, but I didn't want to waste the food thus had it. Even wife & sis complained the same. Kids liked the Crispy Chicken though. I would rate then 1 star. Infact the 2nd experience of Palarivattom was after coming back from Thalassery and it was awesome.

Verdict : The place is worth trying whenever craving to have burgers. They are reasonable in price and it is filling too. The reason for rating 3 is due to the bad experience in Thalassery. It might be of different franchise but for a customer all the Burger Lounge are one. The management should really look into the same. We would surely visit other places when possible but not Thalassery again.

Located right at the Palarivattom junction, the joint can be easily missed if you are not looking for it. Parking is limited and has to be curbside. May not be a great idea to visit during rush hours, but possible at other times. The staff was kind enough to come out and guide us to a parking spot. The place is tastefully done. Good ambience. Sufficient space to accommodate upto 30 people at a time. It was at 9:30 pm we reached and there were still about 15 people dining. Primarily meant for youngsters to hang out. There is seating at ground (about eight pax) as well as the first floor. Did not see a lift though. The service was brisk. The burgers (jumbo beef, chicken zinger and chicken zinger spicy) were soft and good, though we did not find it to be extraordinary in anyway (Well did not expect it to be!). The burger bun was fresh. A lot grease was applied on the top of the bun, not sure why.. . The burgers were sumptuous and neatly presented. The chicken lollypop was a flop! It was actually a chicken pakoda🤪. The drinks (lime, cold coffee, Nutella shake) were average but sufficient in amount. Overall well priced. The attraction definitely is the ambience of the place which makes you feel like staying a little longer if you are with...

Brilliant space… Clean and open kitchens perfect..

The burger was was yum… and a the stuffing is also loaded…. Great bite to fill up… and more than to fill up..

The preparation was good… The brisket is neat… as in juicy, soggy and rightly done.. The sauce toppings were just sufficient and not too much.. Though I would prefer the brisket without the sauces to enjoy the real taste of the Meat… I think it would have been great to have an option preparation with just salt and pepper.

The staff is courteous and helpful..

Make up your mind what you need to have at the counter as you might end up at the counter often to place, pay and dine.. Good billing concept at a space of this.

I’m definitely coming the next time again.. To rest one by one..
