I’ve visited Kingspark for both their lunch and dinner buffets. During the dinner visit, the food was decent, expect for the soup and dessert and the live music was really good. However, the service was noticeably slow. Refilling of food took a long time, and the waiter seemed a bit annoyed when we asked for new plates.
We decided to try their lunch buffet recently, which starts at 1 PM we reached by 1:30, but unfortunately, two items had already run out. To make up for it, they served upma from the breakfast buffet, which was quite disappointing. One of the main dishes listed was fish curry, but there was no fish in it, just curry. When we asked, the manager mentioned they couldn’t source enough fish from the market as it was a Sunday.
Service this time was worse than our first visit. The manager was seated at a table behind us having a conversation about some police complaint issue, which didn’t feel appropriate in that setting. We had to ask for water multiple times, and even then it wasn’t served until we followed up directly. Strangely, the manager ended up serving another table and walked away without bringing ours.
We had gone because of a monsoon offer they were promoting on WhatsApp, but at billing, the amount was initially different. Only after we asked, he adjusted the bill but still not according to the offer. When questioned, he explained terms that weren’t mentioned anywhere in the promo.
What was really disappointing is that they continued to accept bookings while not informing arriving guests that key items from the menu were unavailable.
I’m sorry to say, but after this experience, I won’t be visiting again. I genuinely hope the service improves going forward, the place has potential, but attention to detail and customer experience needs...
Read moreA Magical Lunch at Salim Hassan Kinks Park My recent lunch at Salim Hassan Kinks Park was an experience to remember, blending great food with a touch of magic. The buffet offered a fantastic spread of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, starting with flavorful soups. The main course was a feast, with two types of appams, a variety of curries like beef and fish, and two different chicken dishes. The chicken biryani was a definite highlight—perfectly spiced and incredibly delicious, it quickly became my favorite. The meal ended on a sweet note with a classic payasam, ice cream, and a unique beetroot halwa. But the real surprise came from Mr. Anas, a talented magician who amazed us with his tricks. His performance was unexpected and added an element of fun and wonder to our lunch. Leaving the restaurant, we felt completely satisfied, not just by the delicious food but also by the joy and entertainment Mr. Anas provided. It was a truly delightful visit from...
Read moreWe had booked a buffet for a Birthday celebration and the staff were really cooperative always there at your service.
Coming to the food they had a good spread of Rice, Breads, curries, salads and desserts. Its hard to find authentic Kerala food on a buffet - Ney Pattiri, Kerala style fish curry, Naadan chicken Pepper roast, Malabar chicken Dum Biriyani that too with leghorn chicken all of it was really delicious I really loved the Food and the ambience. Dessert section amazed me as it had dishes which I have never seen else where, the Beet root halwa and Paal payasam with broken wheat both of which tasted awesome.
Talking about the ambience the place was well arranged neat & clean with picturesque interiors.
Highly recommended for those who are looking for a buffet with Kerala cuisine.
