Junior Brothers — Restaurant in Kolkata

We often visit the place. Sometimes at weekend we have our breakfast there and their food quality will satisfy you. But from last couple of month, the staffs behaviour is quite odd. Most of the menu item most of the time will not be available. Today I have visited them at around 10:30 am, they said "Dhosa will not available, because sambar is not ready", I was ok with that, but still they said it will take half an hour. I am not sure what happen with the owner. I guess the owner could not manage the shop properly. Staffs are really annoying, Most of the time only kachuri and dhokla will be available at the first half. If this continue, they will lose...

Ordered during breakfast (available till 11.00am): Hing Kachori: two large kachoris nicely fluffy, potato and green peas sabji, red and green chutney, chopped chilli pickle. Very tasty combo, sabji was perfectly spiced, kachoris had a dal with hing filling. Rs 60 for the combo, very filling. Jalebi: freshly made after you order, fried in desi ghee, served hot, crunchy and nicely sweet, the best.

They have ac, both regular chairs and high chairs, wash basin and liquid soap, but no toilet.

This is my favourite restaurant. I visit this since a long time.Today I visited it again.Food is too good as usual but I think the owner has changed because since last few visits I found some changes. No one cares to clean the tables, no one cares to serve water unless you ask for it . The plastic glasses are very untidy.Tables are quite small and after finishing a plate if you order for another ni one will take away the finished plate.
