Uncle Chinese: A unique Culinary Gem in Koregaon Park and now in Wakad**
For over seven years, Uncle Chinese in Koregaon Park has been a cherished weekend getaway for my wife and me. Recently, we were thrilled to see a new branch open in Wakad, and our visit there did not disappoint. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, which added a personal touch to our delightful dining experience.
Uncle Chinese has always had a knack for drawing us in, no matter where we initially plan to dine. Whether it's karma or just a craving for a quick and delicious meal, we somehow always end up here. The cozy ambiance, despite being a small place with limited seating, is perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely meal.
this place always has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel at home the moment you step in. The decor is modest yet charming, with traditional Chinese elements subtly integrated into the design. Despite its compact size, the restaurant manages to create a comfortable dining experience with well-spaced tables and attentive service.
The staff at Uncle Chinese are friendly and efficient, & always ready to accommodate special requests and provide recommendations. Their prompt service ensures that even during busy hours, you never feel neglected. Meeting the owner during our visit to the Wakad branch was a highlight, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction and personal engagement.
My all-time favourite Star Dishes: Pad Thai Noodles: A perennial favorite, perfectly balanced with flavors that transport you straight to Thailand. Chicken Oyster Gravy: Rich and savory, it's a must-try for anyone who enjoys bold flavors.
My anytime go-to dish Burnt Garlic Rice:** My latest obsession, this dish pairs excellently with the chicken oyster gravy.
Starter Recommendations: Roast Chicken Pepper: Tender and flavorful, this dish is a great start to any meal. The chicken is perfectly roasted, with a peppery kick that tantalizes the taste buds.
Roasted Thai Chilli Prawn: Spicy and succulent, these prawns are perfect for seafood lovers. The prawns are cooked just right, with a spicy Thai chili sauce that adds a burst of flavor.
American Chop suey & Chilli Chicken: My wife swears by these dishes, finding them irresistibly delicious. The American Chopsuey is a delightful mix of crispy noodles and tangy sauce, while the Chilli Chicken offers a perfect balance of heat and flavor

Note to the owners: Train your team to match your food’s potential and you might just stir-fry your...
