Old memories of good old (now new)Cafe general :).. been coming there since college days. The food is excellent, right away from tandoor to Chinese to Kulfi. Run by the Irani Family who always have provided a warm welcome.

The service is excellent with the waiters offering respect to its customers and also displaying a lot of patience.

I have nothing to say about the atmosphere cos it's like everything.. a drink facing the sea just bang opposite girgaum chowpatty.Dimly n beautifully lit just like the color of a 30 ml scotch whisky.

WATCH A MATCH! .. CATCHUP OL TIMES! GUPSHUP! .. BE THERE TO EXPERIENCE IT!

Now eagerly waiting for the "jukebox" to get plugged in...with the songs in the background and the sunset ..you'll feel a WOW EFFECT!

So I went to cafe general with my family and it's was horrible.... most unwelcoming Staff but the decorum was nice . After wait for 20 min and asking for water we got the water ... the staff was untrained for sure as we were 6 people and they give 4 glasses . After waiting for 1hr we got the food .. a kid was their with us and he was starving. After 1 hr the food came and it was totally tasteless and awful. All the items was served with the same sous . Ifood was overpriced and Chantilly was very less we ordered 3000 rs/- food which was barely Enough for us at starting but after eating it we realized the taste was so bad that we will not be needing more ... the service and the food both were worst in class . It was really pathetic and I felt so bad for westing my...

An amazing place to just sit there and spend quality time with friends. The juke box has some amazing playlist from retro to latest hits of both Hindi and English songs. The owner of the place Mr. Rustom Irani is very friendly. Since this place has been our hang out since many many years, Rustom has really been a great host. Cafe General's spread to liquor, food and even their kulfi is fantastic and there is no compromise on quality. As loyal patrons of this place we honestly recommend this place to everyone who just wants to have a relaxing day and enjoy drinks, food and music. It's open on all days from 11.30 am to 12.30 am.
