Cococart & CocoCafe - Jiji House — Restaurant in Mumbai

HAVE ALWAYS LOVED HAVING HOT CHOCOLATE IN THE RESTAURANT. UNTILL THIS HAPPENED :- (N.B.- This review is super long)

I dine in the cafe ln 12/04/2023. The Bill generated was of Rs 911. The waiter there said, I may pay throuh paytm to get some discount. I scanned the QR code, and by mistake I paid 4911rs . I asked them to help me and refund the money. They took my number and email and said in 24hrs you'll get your money back. But it didn't happen. When I called back next day, they said to wait for 1more day, and we will call you. 1more day passed no money no call. I called them number of times, spoke to a lot of people, at the end some India Head Manager named Hitesh, took ownership and promised me, that the payment have been initiated, and I will get my money back before 19/04/2023 EOD. It was 19th I called them that I didnt get my money back. He didn't take call, instead on whatsApp His response was, that we have initiated from paytm, if they have not given your money we can't help you. I told them that I made payment for your business, I need back from you. Then I asked him to atleast give me the proof that payment was initiated. He started ignoring. And asked to call me the customer care of the cafe, gave me the number of a guy named Gurdeep. I started calling and texting him, no response. After a couple of hours I got his text on whatsapp that he was travelling, his someone from his team will call me the next day. By that time I lost my patience, and started the procedure of making a formal complaint on Consumer Forum of India. There I was asked the FSSAI Licence number of the cafe. I again called them and asked me to share. They said we don't have a Licence. Again this was another matter of concern, I asked them how you guys are running this cafe without any formal Licence, that as per best of my knowledge, it's the first thing to get while opening a cafe. Now they said that we have replied you on whatsApp, being on call I checked my whatsApp and saw Hitesh pung was there mentioning its on the bill. I told him, it's not tgere that's why I called you. By this time they started begging not to make an official complaint, and my money will be refunded by EOD 23/04/2023, as they have escalated the matter with high priority just now. Again I said I will wait till then, but please share me your Licence number, so that on 24th morning if I dont receive my money, I can make a complain, without so many of calls. But didn't get it.

After all this, they asked for my bank details and Cancelled cheque on 20/04/2023.And said we will process the money by 21/04/2023. Finally they transferred the amount on 21st evening.

Not having FSSAI Licence and running a restaurant in Fort area is still a matter of Concern.

Hello chocolate lovers, walk down to this cute store/cafe located in Sobo giving the exemplary range of imported chocolates at a duty free cost. Well shopping doesn’t end here, over the side is this cute cafe where u can sit, relax & chill over some really scrumptious deserts and their amazing range of shakes made from the rich taste of chocolates available there. They have some really amazing and delectable snack range specially the croissants and the healthy bowl. The food is vegan friendly, vegetarian and healthy.

I went there midweek after work and honestly the vibe was really good and soothing. Service was top notch, the server guided me best to what would go with my taste buds.

The Must Try ! Croissant sandwich Avocado toast This was made with fresh avocado and goat/Greek cheese, way too yummy. You certainly can’t miss on their Okie Pokie bowl, having all Ingredients of Japanese dish, the blue sticky rice with all veggies and dips made the bowm just delicious.

The Turkish wrap was equally good but just a bit on spicy side. So if u not a spicy lover I would suggest to avoid it.

Offc the desserts :- The Godiva hot chocolate was something I can literally die for. And also the luxury taste of Macroons, they are still stuck on my lip bud. The Godiva marble found cake Was also a good pick of my evening.

The interiors of this cafe was bewildering specially the way they have decorated the cafe.

You can literally get anything and everything on ur list of imported chocolates here.

This is going to be my next go-to place for my after work therapy.

Being a vegetarian, the number of eggless dessert options were limited to 4, so we were prepared to call for 3 of them!

So here's what I highly recommend when you visit @cafebycococart !

1. Daim ganache tart
2. Guac Salad
3. Lindt 55% hot chocolate
4. Valrhona 80% hot chocolate (this one's for the DARK chocolate lovers only)
5. Okie poki Bowl
6. double Brownie Shake

The cookie and brownie though good, failed to leave a mark on us.

Will definitely visit and recommend visiting for the 4 things mentioned above!

Next to the cafe is the @cococartindia store where you can buy world chocolates as If you are on an international airport duty-free store! It's a paradise for chocolate lovers!

I'm sure going to visit again 💓

P.S : Avoid weekends. You will get a lot of waiting time.
