Hotel Fountain Plaza — Restaurant in Mumbai

I don't normally do reviews and stuff but am particularly taking time out for this special place.Coming directly to the point and to begin with the food here(sea food particularly)is just really really good.We've tried almost everything on the menu viz.Pomfret,surmai,lobsters,crabs,shrimps,squids etc.The quality, quantity and taste is just fabulous and tick all the right boxes.Do try their Sea food platter,ghee rice and malabar parota. Secondly;what makes this place stand out apart from the food,ambience and other things is the "Brilliant service of their courteous staff." Right from the gentlemen waiting tables to the one's at the counter, particularly worth mentioning are Mr.Munawwar Husaain and Mr.Prosenjit Das who took great care of my toddler while we dined at ease.All in all it is always an amazing and wholesome experience,Delighted to be here every single time!

I visited here on a Friday evening to try their Kerala food. The taste was really good and everything was made using coconut oil, which added to the authentic flavor.

We ordered parotta, appam, and their special chicken curry.

Parotta: 5/5 Appam: 5/5 Chicken curry: 5/5 All of them tasted amazing!

The only major issue was the waiting time. We had to wait around 30 minutes just for the chicken curry, which was frustrating. We were planning to order more, but ended up not doing it because of the delay. Maybe it was because it was a Friday evening and the place was busy.

The restaurant is a bit inside, but it’s walkable from CSMT station. One thing to note — there’s no proper car parking, so keep that in mind if you're driving.

The place is spacious, has both AC and non-AC seating, and there are plenty of staff around. Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to other Kerala restaurants.

Overall, great food, slow service, and not the best for parking. Would still recommend it...
