Shaan Chinese — Restaurant in Mumbai

Worst Chinese food ever had in my life. I had spent a good time in this restaurants locality. Hind Chinese was tried and tested so Shaan Chinese was always sidelined. Haven't been in fort area for long time and today learnt that Hind Chinese is not working as the building is under construction. Decided to give Shaan Chinese a try and ordered chicken lollipop and chicken fried rice. They both reeked of the smell of bad oil. What was it? Motor oil? The lollipops covering was abnormally thick and chicken was hard to chew. Overall, pathetic! I don't know how they've managed to keep 4.1 stars. Some sort of scam to maintain that...

Well I am still wondering what makes this place so over crowded or its just the hype. The lolipop i ordered was cold .first shockk Then they just heated it and got . Second one was crispy chicken which was not crispy at all .upon asking for the reason was told we don't make it crispy . Thirdly golden frid rice was a stale boiled rice with haldi and topped with red chicken pieces . I just left I off and ordered a triple fried rice . It was just okayish unlike any other resto .

Again I am thinking. What is the reason for the waiting and crowds .

Well I think it's the quantity and colourful presentation...

Shaan chinese is one of the busiest Chinese hotel near CSMT station... There is only Chinese hotel nearby station and all others are street Chinese centre... In shaan many starters, soup and all items available... Rates are very reasonable but you will get good quality and quantity is so good... They are doing delivery also... When you having food their service is also very quick... Most of office people's are ordering food from here and going to have also.... Must visit here when you are looking for Chinese if you near by...
