Flavours of China is located on the main Malad Link Road and is is beside the famous Greens Veg restaurant hence easy to locate. Apart from this they have other outlets at Lalbaug, Parel, Dadar, Prabhadevi, Matunga, Bandra & Borivali.
The restaurant is decent in size with ground plus basement seating available. They have perfectly utilised every part of the property as the seatings are nicely arranged. The ambiance again looks great and have a nice feel of a small China theme as the walls have words written and Chinese lantern on the ceiling looks beautiful.
They specialise in Chinese and Thai food. The options available are great for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Alao they have acquired Icecreaft ice creams hence you get great options in desserts as well. Prices are not too high and th quantity served is huge. Apart from this they also serve combos which indeed is super pocket friendly.
I went here for a weekday dinner and the place got packed around 9PM. The kitchen service was smooth and dishes came on time. The table service by Staff Rahan was perfect as he was attentive. Special mention to Manager Ganesh as honestly he was among the few managers that I came accross who were very professional and polite plus fully committed to their job. He knew the menu well and he suggested grest options for us. And he single handedly was taking care of all the tables.
What We Had - APPETIZERS~ Malaysian Chicken - Sliced chicken done in peanut based creamy sauce tasted delicious. Loved the juiciness of the chicken and the peanut sauce had a hint of chilli in it hence you don't feel too much of peanuts in this.
Chicken Lollypop Schezwan Dry - Huge lollypops done in schezwan sauce tasted outstanding. The size of the lollypops and the meat on it was marvellous. The sauce again had load of garlic in it still not to overpowering. A must try for lollypop lovers.
MAINS~ Chicken Oriental Noodles - Flat noodles with exotic veggies, chicken and egg tasted good. Didn't had too much of spices but taste wise it wasn't bland and had nice taste due to the multiple ingredients in it.
Chicken Five Spice Fried Rice - Aromatic five spice done in fried rice with chicken and veggies tasted great. Loved the taste of the five spice as it doesn't taste like the normal fried rice.
DESSERTS~ Loconuts Ice Cream Roll - Chocolate ice cream, almonds, brownie and chocolate sauce tasted heavenly. A great end to a perfect meal.
MOCKTAILS~ Oceanic Orange. Grey Mango. Both the drinks were nicely made with perfect ratio of syrup and soda hence perfect.

Read moreDisappointing Thai Experience at Flours of China : A Review Highlighting Poor Service and Long Wait Times My recent visit to Flours of China left me deeply disappointed. We specifically ordered the Pad Thai and were subjected to an unacceptable one-hour wait. This alone was frustrating, but the real problem began when the Pad Thai arrived and proved to be subpar, ultimately not worth the lengthy wait.
Upon expressing our dissatisfaction with the dish, we were met with outright denial and accusations of lying from the staff. This unprofessional response was incredibly disheartening and frankly, quite rude. It's one thing to have a kitchen mishap, but to dismiss customer feedback in such a combative manner is simply unacceptable.
The staff's behavior was consistently rude and unprofessional throughout our interaction. This, coupled with the extended wait time and underwhelming food quality, contributed to a truly negative dining experience.
If you're looking for authentic and enjoyable Thai food, I would strongly advise against visiting this particular branch of Flours of Chin Mald. The long wait times, combined with the dismissive and rude staff, make it a dining experience best avoided. There are undoubtedly better Thai restaurants in the area that offer both quality food and respectful service. I will certainly not...
