Happened to cross one of the bylanes at Fort on a lazy Saturday evening after work, where I came across a bright yellow colourful board which said Raju Ki Chai (RJK)! Now disclaimer I am a big time tea person! I love drinking my cutting chai often at various udipi restaurants or tea stalls.

This small little joint had a complete different vibe to it. There were benches and some stools kept just outside the place, which was quite interesting. And I could actually see people occupying those seats and chit chatting with tea in their hands. And I thought, what a fantastic idea implemented by RJK. Was so intrigued that I decided to walk in and have a closer look.

RJK has rich vibrant colours on its wall, with funny quotes. Has I love Mumbai, I love India written on various places. I could feel the buzz with the amount of walk-in the place had. This joint will be completing a year next month, so kudos to a place which has been able so successful in a short span of time. RJK serves Sandwiches, Pizzas, Buns, Maggi, Fries along with Tea with milk and without milk!

Talking about what all I tried here -

I was ofcourse there for tea! But the food also looked so interesting, that I had to try some of it! Started with Kesari Special Chai served in Kulhad! Chai was sprinkled generously with saffron! I personally loved the chai! - fantastic combination of Saffron, Ginger, Tea Masala and Cardamom! Had heard plenty of the Adrak chai as well, I prefer less of Adrak but those who are open to it, should try!

Next tried the Honey Ginger Lemon Chai which is under their served in cutting glass. This is under their Healthy Chai section with no milk! Lemon tea lovers would love this one. I loved it too! Just awesome and must try!

Moving to some food - we first tried Bun Maska! Bun was loaded with Butter so it was definitely pleasing to the eye! However the buns were a little hard and taste was decent. Wish the buns can be softer.

Next we had the Peri Peri Maggi. Spicy as it should be due to the Peri Peri Masala added to the Maggi. Must have for Maggi lovers and those open to trying something different.

After the Maggi we tried Aloo Bomb! This is one of the recommended dishes, so decided to try this. Fried Potato basket stuffed with Onion, Capsicum, Tomatoes and Mayo, topped with Sev! Decent preparation! If I must choose amongst the Peri Peri Maggi and Aloo Bomb, I would personally recommend Maggi.

Last but not the least, we ordered for the Melting Grilled Sandwich. A super filling sandwich loaded with cheese on top served with chutneys and ketchup. Quite different from the Grilled Sandwich which you have in city. Best dish amongst all and highly recommended!

We ended our meal with couple of more tea options - Raju Ki Chai Special and Adrak & Lemongrass Special, later one was more refreshing for me. Raju Ki Chai Special is the regular masala tea for those who prefer not to experiment with their Chai!

All-in-all a good experience at RJK. Was so impressed that they have so effective with a basic menu. They do serve to a lot of offices in and around Fort! I wouldn't be surprised in fact would be happy to see more such RJK outlets open near commercial areas and business...

Nestled in the bustling heart of Fort, Mumbai, Raju Ki Chai is a haven for tea and snack lovers. This charming little spot offers a delightful array of beverages and quick bites that cater to diverse palates. The Masala Chai is a quintessential offering, a perfect blend of robust tea, aromatic spices, and the right amount of sweetness. Each sip warms you up, making it an ideal choice for chai enthusiasts looking for a comforting cup.

For coffee lovers, the Filter Coffee here is a must-try. Served hot and frothy, it captures the essence of traditional South Indian coffee, making for a rich and aromatic experience.

The Cheese Chilly Toast is a delightful blend of melted cheese and spicy green chillies on perfectly toasted bread, this snack is a crowd-pleaser.

The Peri Peri Fries are a spicy treat, coated generously with peri peri seasoning. They are crispy, flavorful, and make a great accompaniment to any beverage.

The Melting Cheese Sandwich lives up to its name with an abundance of melted cheese oozing out of every bite. It’s a simple yet incredibly satisfying snack, especially for cheese lovers.

The Oreo Shake at Raju Ki Chai is a decadent treat. Blended with generous amounts of Oreo cookies, this thick shake is both creamy and indulgent, making it a favorite among kids and adults alike.

A refreshing summer drink, the Aam Panna is tangy and sweet, made from raw mangoes. It’s a perfect thirst quencher that also helps in cooling down during hot days.

Raju Ki Chai is more than just a tea stall; it’s a cozy corner where you can unwind with a cup of your favorite brew and a...

In the busy lanes of Fort one thing which will refresh you anytime is a kadak and tongue tingling chai . That's the main them of this place out called RKC viz. Raju Ki Chai .

The outlet is indeed a cute little place having limited seating and with some lovely funny quotes on stools and walls.

Along with Chai they offer some lips smacking snacks which we savoured during our visit out here .

Kullad Chai : This reminds me of our Holy place Nath Dwara where we visit once in a year and one big thing which we miss through out the year is the Kullad Chai which we enjoy these . Atleast the Chai we can enjoy in Mumbai itself now Thanks to RKC .

We tried their RKC special which had strong aroma of spices in it & along side we tried their Kesar Special which has sweet notes and good of Kesar within it.

Snacks :

Melting Cheese Grill : We have enjoyed this yummy delight at many places in Town & trust me they are one of the best in serving it perfectly the way it has to be

Chilli Cheese Bun : This is from their Must Try section and it definitely is . Bun served in an absolute Delicious way . A must try for all .

Aloo Bomb : Had a lots of expectations from this but it eventually turned out to be an ordinary dish . Having said that the filling in this one was also Tasty only suggestion will be to work on the Aloo shell

Dessert :

Nutty Nutella Open Toast : Again a house speciality which is definitely a must try dessert while concluding your meal out here .

Overall a delightful and refreshing visit to the place .
