Sahibaan Oriental and Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

I would love to be polite but the service at the restaurant was too bad that I can't stop myself. We saw good reviews at Google and walked long to find this place. After reaching we found that the place was too congested. Yet we decided to eat there thinking that the food may be good.

The service and behavior of the staffs were extremely bad, neither they were polite nor they were good at serving or cleaning. They already delayed our order and moreover gave our food to someone else by mistake, further delaying our order. No one was there to serve the food nor they were cleaning up on time. The table remained shabby, and as I mentioned it was already congested. Above all, we found hair in the food. Not to mention, the food was just an average. When we ordered a Vanilla scoop the waiter was telling us what we should order, as if we don't know what to order. The food was very expensive and I could not expect and tolerate this inspite of paying such a huge amount.

Another worst thing was that there was just one washroom for the hotel which was extremely shabby and dirty, and was smelling very bad. There was no water in the restroom, not even for handwash. What is the point of paying such a huge amount and having nothing in return. I would not recommend anyone to this hotel. We generally see the reviews before visiting a place, so I believe this review will save someone's money,...

So we recently went to this restaurant in the evening.The resturant wasn't that busy and we could peacefully enjoy our food.

Sahibaan Oriental and Indian Resturant is a restaurant located in the heart of Colaba. It is a popular one for both locals and tourists.

I would not recommend the sizzling Ice cream brownie from here,it was rather too hot and the brownie was not up to the mark.

The service staff were attentive and professional. If you are looking for a special occasion restaurant in Mumbai, Then this is an good option.

Note:-As the serving portion of our spring roll was large we asked the waiter to pack it up,but forgot to pick it up when paying the bill.Please do not do this mistake as we did. If anyone wishes to parcel the food they didn't finish,remind them during bill payment.
