Shubh Sagar — Restaurant in Mumbai

We've been customers of Shubh sagar for 22 years and have received polite good service on phone. Today I ordered puri bhaji and bhelpuri with request for 3 extra puris and only sweet chutney in bhelpuri not hot spicy one. He agreed to both requests. When I opened the package only regular 3 puris were there not extra ones. On ringing them the rude man on the phone said, that's all you get. I said that he'd promised to put extra puris! He replied, did you say you are paying for them? I replied that he's supposed to tell me about extra charges and include it in the bill. To which he said no, no, you get only 3 puris. And hung up. So, after 22 years I've torn up their menu card. Since there are hundreds of places listed on swiggy and zomato, I will not order from them again. I live overseas where customer service is legend! It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. You can opt for any courses whether let it be breakfast, luch , dinner or any other snacks or desserts. The service was also quite good and warm and the place was well air conditionered. Some dishes/snacks/desserts might be a bit overpriced but it is quite affordable and the quality and quantity of the food/ drinks is also good, you can easily check the menu online anyways. I recently visited Subh Sagar Pure Veg Restaurant and tried their Rawa Masala Dosa. The taste was really good, with a crispy texture and well-balanced flavors in the masala filling. The chutneys and sambar complemented the dish perfectly.
