I purchased three silk rugs; excellent selection of silk on silk, silk on cotton, wool silk blend carpets. I must have looked at about 100 carpets in the 9*12 size itself. I was handled by the owner Mr. Ovais and given a value deal. I had these carpets shipped back to the US, they arrived on time and excellently packed and insured. I was kept informed about my shipment at each stage. This is the best place to buy carpets in Mumbai; I also visited a few shops behind the taj but was not satisfied with the quality I saw; and they were quite pushy.
