Apsara Ice Creams — Restaurant in Mumbai

I love visiting Apsara Ice Cream, everytime, whenever I get a chance to do so. This time around was at their Colaba outlet. Was in the vicinity with family when we checked in post dinner. Nice cozy outlet, with decent space for seating.

Well i will be honest, my craving for favorite Pan Pasand actually pulled me towards the outlet, but the best part was that since we were 4 members, I got to try these some of their other amazing flavours as well.

The ones that I tried besides Pan Pasand, were Guava Glory - one of the highest selling ice-creams for Apsara. Just love the chilli masala that they put on top of it. I am personally a big fan of Falooda as well and tried for the first time in ice-cream form - Falooda Funda. The best part is you even find sabja seeds and vermicelli (sev) also in the ice-cream. A great job.

Interestingly, they have introduced a new flavour which again i was curious to try out. And that was the Spice N Nuts. A nice mix of crushed nuts along with spices, tasted really good. Recommended especially those who like the Roasted Almonds here. Shall be a good change for sure.

I was lured in to this place by my sister by telling me it has a 'Guava' flavored ice cream and 'Paani Puri' flavored ice cream which I should try. I was skeptical till that very day came. I barged in and went up the counter and this guy quite horrified by my looks asked if he could help. I asked him to serve me the guava flavored ice cream. He scooped it out of the box, put it in the cup and added those guava spices. I thought to myself, this guy got game. Still horrified by my looks he handed over the ice cream and when I took a bite out of it, I got chills. That tangy guava flavor with spices was no joke. It indeed tasted like a real guava. Then I proceeded to taste 'Paani Puri'. Even the real taste of Paani Puri was uncomparable to this remarkable invention of mankind. I asked to myself - what sorcery is this? My taste buds were defeated. I thought I'd never taste an ice cream better than chocolate filled with chocolate chips and brownie. Slowly I walked out of this place experiencing...

Apsara Ice Cream was a disappointing experience, as it failed to live up to expectations in both quality and service. The pricing felt unjustified given the lack of variety and unimpressive flavors, which lacked the richness and freshness one would expect from a premium ice cream brand. Additionally, the service was underwhelming, with staff seeming indifferent to customer experience. With so many better ice cream options available, this place doesn’t stand out as...
