Shiv Sagar — Restaurant in Mumbai

Shiv Sagar is one vegetarian delight for all the veg buff out there. It is by far one of the renowned names in the F&B industry. Ask anyone in Mumbai and they will guide you about where to find outlets in Shiv Sagar as they have spread their visibility across Mumbai & Navi Mumbai too. Today I had been to the Churchgate which is the second outlet they had opened after Kemps Corner. It is barely a walking distance from Churchgate station as you head towards Marine drive. Diving into the dishes serving your palate will be Multi cuisine so I had ample of choices to opt for.

Food:

1 Cheese Nachos with Mexican Beans – Cheese lovers this is purely lit!!! Generous amount of liquid cheese to drool for along with Crispy Nachos and topped with Mexican beans. Salsa sauce served as a dip alongside. Truly justice to the word ‘cheesy nachos’. At one point of time I was like I’m done for the lunch or what??

2 Paneer Pahadi Tikka – Tandoor grilled paneer marinated with coriander chutney was an absolute delight as an appetizer. Cubes of paneer were simply soft and tender as expected.

3 Pav Bhaji – Being at Shiv Sagar and how we miss their USP. We definitely opted for their pav bhaji to really see is it really worth the hype!!! Though we were almost done with the starters but seeing the tempting pav bhaji in front of us so we digged in slowly & steadily enjoying each and every bite of it.

4 Cheese Masala Pav – Pav Bhaji damn good so we went for cheese masala pav accompanying it side by side. Well it has been a cheesy afternoon for us I must say. Chef with his whole hearted heart garnished it with loads of cheese leaving us drowsy at the end.

Drinks:

1 Mango Cooler – Before the season of mango commences in Mumbai. As a teaser to out taste buds we went for this mocktail. It gave us that homely feeling of finishing bowls of aam ras.

2 Shiv Sagar Special – This mocktail totally stood by its name. Mix of all the syrups topped with dry fruits was a delight. In a few words I can say another version of melted falooda it has to be.

Ambience – One part which I didn’t like was the ambience here as it was shady and usually families step in so it could have been more on the lighter side. It has two levels here for occupying customers. Seating is comfortable though.

Service – Our attendant for the day Mr. Naushad took great efforts for our wishes.

Awesome outlet located at Churchgate. If you are finding a best place to have a vegetarian food then shiv sagar is the best option for it. It’s a best veg restaurant and bar located near Marine drive. I had visited this place with my friend yesterday. Starting from the entrance the staff welcomed us and came with us to allot our table. The staff was very kind and polite. I loved their behaviour. The ambience was super awesome and it was a very cool duplex place. Coming to the food it was really very awesome. When you’ll go through the menu card there are many various items in the menu card. They have many varieties in south India, punjabi and Chinese cuisines. Coming to the refresher drinks In mocktails I had ordered - Strawberry Punch Fruit Punch Strawberry punch was the best I ever had, and specially it was seasonal so got to try out some fresh strawberry shake. Fruit punch was also very good and tasty. Moving towards the starters, I had ordered Cheesy nachos with beans Veg crispy Cheesy nachos is the best item you should ever try at this place. It was best nachos I ever had in my life. It was totally loaded with cheese and beans. I loved a lot. I’ll really recommend this. Going towards to main course , I had ordered - Mirch Paneer Butter naan Garlic naan The mirch paneer was very very awesome and averagely spicy. I loved a lot the paneer was cutted into rectangular pieces and the gravy was very thick and I loved it. Both the naan were really very tasty and I loved it. Do visit this place once and try their other items as well. Place is super awesome with great ambience. And again I’ll mention that please try their Cheesy Nachos, it’s a must try...
