Anu's Punjabi Dhaba, the place which was long pending on my bucket list. Located in the main Road, near AIADMK office. Parking Facility Available. So I went along with my friends at 8.pm.
Hot and Sour Mutton Soup : Undoubtedly the best you get ever get in this surrounding, Mutton was so tender and the soup had reasonable number of pieces. I loved the essence of the soup. All the spices were mixed welll and The flavour of ginger too. Really tasty and mouth watering it was .
Corn and Cheese Balls : It was served hot hot. The flour used was of great quality. Could sense it when I ate it. The sauce was spicy and suited it well.
Paneer Tikka : Great Blend of spices. It was garnished well. The Paneer was very fsoft and it was cooked well . The pieces were big enough. I loved the flavour. It was extremely good.
Peshwari Chicken Tikka : We just wanted to try something Spicy. But it was over spicy. A little disappointed on the taste side too. It was not so very tasty. An okayish dish. The chicken pieces were really soft and tender .
Dhabba Special Chicken : It looked super yummy. But Still I would say it didn't meet the expectations. It was Cheese topping which was melting on the gravy & Coriander too. It had some some chunks of peas which I didn't like . It looked very odd. Pieces were good. Average over all. The gravy was very rich.
Kadai Paneer : The Gravy had a great blend of spices, it had some chilly which was fantastic to look in at and taste too.
Naan and Rotis : could have been more softer and thinner .felt it was hard. Garlic naan was good.
On the whole, I would Recommend this place .
My rating : 4/5

Read moreAnu's Punjabi Dhaba! Ended up in this place because of the usually strong craving for dhaba cuisine. The food was way beyond our expectations. Our order was, Breads & Anu's Special Dhaba chicken gravy - the naans and rotis were delicate and soft, special mention to the cheese naans although cheesy level was low but the delicateness of the naans was best And their gravy, tasted somewhat different at first mouth but the flavours bloomed up late and it contained leg pieces and egg too and it made a perfect combo with the breads Ajwaini fish tikka - spicy tangy tikka marinade, and the fish so so fresh it just melted in the mouth The remaining jal jeera drink, Masala cola and the dessert pot kulfi tasted very normal just like how it tastes usually in other places too. The punjabi lassi was thick and served with junks of khova and cashews. A must try.
The service was a bit slow, seemed like there was less manpower and the ambience was normal, but due to less manpower or so the cleaning tables etc all took long.
Overall an Amazing and worth the penny place to have some mouthwatering and tasty punjabi dhaba kinda food and best place to have a nice warm family...
Read moreWorst CRM I ever encountered. They have delivered less portions of 3 Peshawari chicken tikka ordered through Zomato with lesser quantity of salad and chutney. On inquiry over phone Mr. Inder who identified himself as the manager had the audacity to say that the number of salad and chutney packets will be packed with the main dish according to their whims and fancies and has no relevance to the number of main dishes that had been ordered; even if 5 tikkas are ordered he will send only 2 salads and chutnies and not 5 salads and chutnies and that's their restaurant policy... I fail to understand when the price of the dish includes such side dishes what right do they have to reduce the number of side dishes according to their whims and fancies... The customers are charged for what they are not being served... The owner was not available for lodging the...
