Fisherman Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

The best restaurant i have visited in Mahabalipuram is Fisherman's restaurant. The sea food they serve is mouth watering and gives a craving to have more and more. We had tava prawns, butter garlic kalamari, prawn noodles and mixed noodles and even after that we couldn't resist visiting this place the next night for dinner to have tava crab, butter garlic prawns this time and also packed for ourselves one prawn noodles for later. The place is a beach shack with wooden chairs above the sand on an uplifted platform. The lighting is well done giving a direct view of the sea. Its magical to sit there ,chit chat with friends and taste such yummy sea foods, listening to the sea waves crashing. I will recommend it and myself will visit every time I go to Mahabalipuram. Best calamari in town!

I have been coming here for years and I am never disappointed. Crispy French Fries, wonderfully fresh fish and great veg fried rice. Tiger prawns, lobster and crab have been enjoyed by many of my friends.

The service is friendly and understands the needs of the guests. "Free sand foot massage" as advertisement cracks me up. That humor is reflected in the friendliness of the staff and the boss.

Sitting on a chair, one can have a beach feeling while looking at the seashore temples.

Mr Stephen, a very straight forward person. Makes you feel at home. He has provided us with all the necessary requirements for our one day stay. Fisherman guest house has a very high potential. It has all the requirements of a 5 star hotel.

Gives me beautiful memories of the other 5star hotels I have stayed in.

I would recommend this hotel as a budget friendly very accommodating hotel.
