Mylapore filter coffee — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Easily qualifies to the "worst filter coffee" league. Without further ado let me jot down the points that substantiate my rating.

1. The milk wasn't filtered and the coffee had traces of milk cream (malai or paal yedu in Tamil) in every sip. I don't think any 'namma aathu kaapi' is prepared under such hasty and poor work.
2. The decoction was too light, the lightest I have ever had. This is despite asking for extra decoction. I think it's due to over extraction of decoction from the coffee powder. i.e. The decoction is way too diluted than it should be.
3. I'm fine paying 30 rupees for a filter coffee. But it has to be worth it. What's the point of paying 30 Rs when the coffee you get isn't even worth IRCTC standards? I request the owner (if he takes the feedback in a constructive manner) to visit any Bangalore Udupi hotels where the Coffee isn't priced above Rs 15, but still brewed in the perfect manner.
4. It's a traditional South Indian Filter coffee with the tagline 'Namma aathu kaapi'. To bring back the nostalgia associated with it, I think the perfect manner the coffee should be served is with a davara set. However I was served in a tumbler alone. Please do note that few places still serve tea with davara.
