Visited this place with my office team for dinner after hearing to some exciting comments from my friends. Since it was an official meeting, instead of the Alchemy pub we settled into the quintessence restaurant and requested them to serve the pub food since the reviews of the buffet wasn't that great. The place is very easy to find, adequate car parking and bike parking provided considering its one of the famous places in Chennai (atleast for the pub). Settled into the place and started off with some drinks which included alcohol. The most frustrating thing about this place is its service. It took them literally 20 mins to serve liquor and even then they forgot to serve my colleague and me. Since we were a group of 15, everybody else had to wait and eventually they ended up brining my drink forgetting my colleagues drink. By now he was feeling restless and didn't bother asking them for the drink. It was on a Saturday and we expected a better service which wasn't to be unfortunately. Coming to the food, we got close to 8 starters that included almost every cuisine they served. Since we had requested for the pub food we were also served from the pub menu. Got some chicken sizzlers, calamari, prawns, fish and some vegetarian starters as well. Since I was sitting next to the non vegetarians wasn't worried much with that the vegetarians had ordered. The bacon wrapped bacon was good, since I'm a big fan of bacon I loved this dish but the small disappointment was that most prawns from the starters tasted almost same. Chicken peri peri was spicy, juicy, had enough flavours to be favoured by everyone . Had the right amount of spices which didn't overshadow the chicken taste. The fish tasted good, it was soft and literally melted in our mouths. The spice was fine and subtle . The lamb chops was simply amazing with enough meat , it was simply irresistible. It could have been better if the meat was tender but I couldn't complain since I simply got my hands dirty biting it until the last meat was conquered, the rough meat hadn't bothered me much . Over to the main courses, we ordered chicken fried rice, prawn gravy which was simply delicious, probably my favourite. With pulka it was absolutely amazing. The biriyani was just ok, the meat was tender but lacked flavours big time. The pasta was good initially but as time passed by, when it wasn't hot anymore it started losing its shine. Overall the food was good, the service was very slow and bad. Didn't expect such place to have very less people employed that too on a Saturday night. The manager tried his best to get things moving but he wasn't able to expedite the flow himself.

Another birthday party ended up with a blast duely because of the food. Great choice. Big menu 😋 sumptuous meal, everything was really great 👍. Another day ended up with the courtesy of DINE OUT, where we had a flat 15% on the total bill. The waiters were too generous. We had a very good time epically because we were the only family (14members) sitting inside the restaurant, so much privacy we had, they also served liquor with the food On the whole it's was a neat 5/5 package To be noted: they don't serve prawns or some of the sea food, if u want u can order them in advance so that they can arrange it ... Bon appetite fellows Peace ✌✌✌

We had a really Peaceful dinner, as were able to spend quality along with delicious food. Starters, main course had a great variety and was difficult to decide what not to have. So ended up eating all. Chicken biryani was outstanding, as the chicken was soft and its flavor was all over in biryani. Desserts had really unique stuff which we don't see generally. Like Gajar Halwa, Chandra Kala and mysore pak. These sweets just took our dinner to next level. Overall this is the place for peaceful and quality buffet dinner, where one can enjoy food, ambience along with their loved one's.

On a Sunday afternoon, entered this place where all the staffs were so welcoming.

To start it off they give you a melon welcome drink which tastes and looks so good.

The starters are served on the table. Two veg and two non-veg starter. The fish was the highlight of the starters it was fried to perfection and served with an amazing sauce. The chicken was spicy and perfect refreshment to build our appetite.

Next up we were showed up to a wide spread of buffet which both veg and non-veg spread. I wanted to taste everything possible in the menu!! It was endless! The mutton gravy and chicken was the best and the curd rice was amazing. I have a weird habit of over eating curd rice in the buffet. The biryani was the only thing I felt could have been better and the manager was courteous enough to take our reviews.

Next up was the desserts and again we were spoilt with choices. All the sweets and desserts were amazing from gulab jamun to tarts and cakes. Everything was amazing.

Salads were also available. Overall it is more than worth the money we spend. Do visit this place. The ambience was amazing.

Will visit...

Food s avail 24 hours.. Went with 3 friends at around 12 midnight... Food was very good... Chicken Briyani was very good... Even the raita served was awesome... Fried chicken was also very good... None of my friends had any issue with the quality and taste... Everyone felt it was a bit over priced and quantity was bit less.. Ambience was good.. Place was clean... Utensils wer clean... We never expected the quality at the middle of night... Valet parking is present... Night there was hardly any crowd... Best place to eat in the night... Service was awesome especially a guy named dinesh was very polite and good with his service... Will be visiting...
