Le Yogi is a pretty Roof top restaurant that has a beautiful and relaxing ambience. It has a touch of the south of France as I have lived in that region. It has a very pretty hanging garden around the window openings. Attention is given to harmony with nature and aesthetics around the restaurant. Seating options are on the table and the floor, which pleasantly surprised me. Shoes are removed at the entrance. I appreciated the eastern hygiene code. A very different kind of restaurant that gives a very pleasant and unique dining experience.
It has a wide variety of sea food choices and a variety of cuisine options. Their spicy Fried fish with chips and veggies was excellent! They serve large portions that really fill you up. The service was very homely and the host was very caring and friendly. The server too was very courteous and provided us with excellent service. I plan to return to this place on my next visit to...
Read morePathetic Service. Staff behavior is not very welcoming. Had been for dinner on a weekday. There excuse for serving late is that they don't have enough staff to fulfil needs, Neither they do have enough fresh stock of vegetables. Service was very unhygienic. Food taste was good. But quality was bad what I mean by this is Staff got onion and dried lemon in hand and put on our plate when we asked for some salad. Quantity of food is very less, not worth the money. They treat oversea customers differently and Indians differently. We had to cancel our order and go back with disappointed empty stomach as the order took more than 2 hrs for them to start preparing. No Covid Protocols followed. They served something which wasn't order to our next table and told them that they cann't help it as it is late and running shortage of time (they insisted them to eat what is served in a good manner, but still...
Read moreNo cards, at least not when we ate. Smoking is allowed. Food was mediocre at best. The Penne pasta was not 'Al Dente'. The pasta sauce was not cooked all the way. I could tase the raw tomatoes. Calamari was overcooked and was rubber like. The curries were light and not heavy as Indian curries usually are. The spaghetti was burnt and again the sauce was undercooked.
Actually we tracked it down and skipped a few other restaurants on the way there, as it had good ratings, but were left with an utterly disappointing dining experience.
The place is definitely not for family. They do serve alcohol, so typical Indian families might want to avoid the place.
Food portions were okay though. And fried noodles was super good, although it was the last to be brought to the able since we had ordered fried rice earlier and the rice went all smushy on the cooks and the waiter had to...
