Starbucks — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

My first visit to Starbucks and it was a total let down. I wanted to visit Starbucks because of their recent Collaboration with Taylor Swift to celebrate her album Red ( Taylor's Version )

On the Starbucks instagram handle, firstly, they promised to play the entire album across all of their stores and to have the Taylor's Version Beverage ( Caramel skim Latte ) on their menu till 18th November..... But nothing was Doneee !!!!

The staffs or the barista had no idea about it at all.

They didn't even know the recipe of Caramel skim latte ( Taylor's Version ) and said that i was the first customer to ask for this... And they gave me a Latte with Caramel syrup.

With the collaboration rolled out in India on 13 th November, the Starbucks hasn't even informed or let their employees know about it even when I visited the store on 16th November. ( What a lethargic attitude! )

Starbucks promised to give out he red cups for Taylor's Beverage... But the staff didn't give me one.. and I had to ask for the red cup.

They didn't play the songs from the Red Album at alllll

Dear Starbucks,

If you cannot deliver what you promised, then why take it up in the first place ?! You went into the collaboration to honor her Album and accomplishments...and you have done a horrible horrible job at it.

I even saw fans across the globe, even in USA complaining about your service and your staff's ignorance about this.

If you can't deliver a good experience to the customers then don't promise it in the first place.

I was sooo looking forward to this, but was totally hurt. You know why ? Because this was the first collaboration with Taylor that has ever reached India. I really thought you will pull it off. But you didn't. You earned another disappointed dissatisfied customer.

P.S. I asked for the Red cup. I asked for the Barista to write Taylor's Version on the cup. The only thing that I didn't do was BREW THE DAMN...

I have been coming to Starbucks since it opened in Chennai.I have had Frappuccino’s and hot beverages at many Starbucks outlet. This one has been my favourite until recently after the renovation.

Atmosphere : Pros : Very New, Nice lighting and furniture arrangements. Cons : Seating is uncomfortable after renovation - small cushioned separate chairs and even the cushioned sofa type is like a long bench sharing with others. Right side of entrance area has no seating. This type of seating is suitable for someone who can have food and drink and leave immediately.

Service : Pros : There are many staff present. Some of them friendly , welcoming and asks for feedback. Cons : Maybe it’s because they may be new some of the staff not very welcoming, not caring much for feedback , they just want the customer to take the food or drink and leave immediately. Starbucks has the culture of people coming in working for hours so new customers can’t find a seat because of that. If that needs to change may be put up a sign board for limiting their time ,instead of asking them directly to make room for others or change to different seat. I have left many times when it is crowded, Nobody has changed seat when I had no seat.

Food : Drink and food is usually good at every Starbucks including this one but I have had better at other outlets. People should enjoy the work they do so the food and drink can be enjoyed too.

I really don’t wish to point out negatives with my reviews but this outlet needs some changes or it will lose...
