I wanted to share my recent experience at your hot chips restaurant near Pondy bazar this morning, and unfortunately, it left me with a rather negative impression.
Upon arriving, I found there was only one person available at the counter, and after waiting for about 10 minutes, I inquired whether there was a self-service option or if someone would be available to assist with orders. The response I received was less than satisfactory; I was told to wait until someone else arrived.
Expressing my concern about wasting time as I had to get to the office, the reply was unexpected. The staff member mentioned that they couldn't take orders if customers chose to sit and that it might take more time. Furthermore, I was given the option to either eat or leave.
This interaction left me frustrated, and I ultimately left the establishment with a sense of dissatisfaction. Customer service is crucial in ensuring a positive experience, and unfortunately, my encounter today has made me reconsider future visits.
I believe constructive feedback is essential for improvement, and I hope this message helps address areas that may need attention. I value your business and hope that steps can be taken to enhance customer service and overall satisfaction.
Thank you for your...
Read moreThis Hot Chips restaurant at Pondy Bazaar T Nagar does not need a review for the very fact that it’s one of the best food joints at Pondy Bazaar, a treat for people after a tiring shopping, crawling through the crowd at Pondy Bazaar. A very old food joint, I have been seeing it for at least more than 12-13 years now, maintains the standard with regard to taste and service. Been here last week after a long time and trust me, the service and taste of food is maintained. Parking would be a tough task here, for that matter anywhere at Pondy Bazaar you would not find comfortable parking apart from the limited space taken by paid parking authorities. You can still manage to park at any of the by lane residential colonies. Don’t miss out the Pav Bhaji at Hot Chips which the outlet is very...

This place is really overpriced. We tried the fast food style since we wanted some quick bites. The price they charge for fast foods (literally eat by standing) is very high — it’s most comparable to an Air Conditioned restaurant!
Samosa was average. Lacked spices, salt and could have been tastier.
Cutlet was decent. Worth trying once if you’re hungry. Not something I would tru again.
Pav Bhaji was … meh. Nothing great about it. Quantity for Bhaji was very less — so much so that we had extra Pav left and the Bhaji was over already. It almost felt like tomato purée after a point. And, it lacked any spices for that matter!
Very average service and food. Wouldn’t really...
