Amazing place with great location, live music and drinks!**

I would highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great place to relax and enjoy some good music and drinks. The location is perfect - it's just 100 meters from the main street, but it feels like you're in a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The bar has a really chilled-out atmosphere, and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. We were served by Wayan, who was an absolute pleasure to talk to. He was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The live music was a real highlight of our visit. The guitarist was playing some really beautiful and relaxing music, which was perfect for setting the mood. The drinks were also excellent - we tried a few different cocktails and they were all delicious.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this bar and we would definitely come back again. If you're looking for a great place to unwind and enjoy some good company, then I highly recommend...

After roaming the streets of Ubud after a long work day and walking past way too many fancy, overpriced, and frankly pointless bars that could be anywhere in the world, I stumbled upon this gem tucked away in a quiet, slightly dark lane, and I’m so glad I did. Very chill, very real, no pretence.

There was a local amateur rock band playing familiar tunes, the kind that instantly makes you feel at ease. The people running the place were warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely. I had a few beers, some food, and just sat around wasting time for a bit

So just crossed paths with Lokal bar and restaurant, this place was recommended to us by a guy we met in a bar who quickly discovered I’m a huge music lover . We entered the bar to be greeted by a guy named IB , who was probably the most accommodating waiter We’ve met so far on our 4 days in ubud . He couldn’t have been more friendly if he tried . We ordered a bucket of Bali hai it was at our table in seconds laced with ice . We continued to have a conversation about our travels and exchanged words of kindness and love of this city and more importantly my love for this bar we had entered which has amazing food and relaxation before the live music began which just made our night .
