Did not have the best experience here at all! From the beginning of stepping into the establishment I had some of the worst service. I arrived around 3pm to an empty Cafe with about 12 available tables, I proceed to choose a table and the waiter tells me "I'm sorry but you can't sit here" I found that strange seeing that the restaurant was empty, she then proceeds to point me to a table that seats 8 people (I'm solo) and said "This is better". Me being easy going, I said what the heck, a seat is a seat. Within in 5 mins a party comes in, they choose the table and they are allowed to sit there. I looked past that and just figured maybe they knew the owners or something. I sit at my new table and within 30 mins, another waiter approaches me and says "Im sorry can you go to the bar, we have reservations coming in. Again, I never asked to be seated at a table for 8 people and just came to work on my laptop and have a glass of tea. So what do I do, I move to the bar to save an headache. Not even 10 mins at the bar, what seems to be the owner approaches me and says "Im sorry but we try make this a dinner environment after 6 so please no laptops, or you can sit in this table in the back" At this point I just said, screw it! I'm obviously not welcomed at this place and thats fine, I left and have no plans of ever coming back! As far as the drinks, they were so so, nothing to rave about. Much better places to relax/work and be...
Read moreExcellent spinach pumpkin dosa.. always reliable.. the size and makeup of the accompanying chickpea dhall can vary.. so you may want to try to get them to give a minimum amount.. for me it's varied between very generous to unbelievably mean.. to the chef's credit he has always done his best to give more.. but this has resulted in waiting btwn 3 and 15 minutes more, especially if busy time eg Friday night. Bintang is best beer choice.. they only do small.. but it comes cold with a cold fresh glass each time.. again ask to be sure. Overall a very nice place with staff who do respond well.. not always the case. NB coconut corriander is best choice of side chutney.. chef's dhall varied a lot every time..sometimes full of flavour and vibrancy, sometimes unbelievably bland.. order a spicy sambal, usually free but today it's 7k, and mix it in slowly to get the spice you want. NB previously the falafel dosai was disappointing.. single falafel.. not much taste in the rest of it. The 5 star rating is based on you choosing and communicating with them skillfully. The maps menu is very useful.. it slides so use that.. and sort and search other reviews before you decide for yourself. They would benefit by improving their...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Muse, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. This was my second visit; my first being for breakfast where I enjoyed a delectable avocado toast with eggplant and two extra eggs, paired with a unique drink that was perfect for my recovering stomach.
Today, I opted for a chicken dish accompanied by mashed pumpkin and vegetables, which was simply delicious. Although I can’t recall the exact name of the dish, every bite was delightful. I also tried the fresh coconut, which was a refreshing treat.
The ambiance at Muse is inviting and the staff are attentive and friendly, always available when needed. My overall experience was flawless, earning this place a solid five out of five. I highly recommend Muse to anyone seeking a great dining experience.
Additionally, they feature a live band at night, which I have only had the chance to hear in passing, but it certainly adds to the vibrant atmosphere. In summary, the food is outstanding, the quality is top-notch, and the prices are reasonable. Muse is...
