Wonderful location, right off Jl. Monkey Temple. Beautiful bamboo decor inside. Mixed American and Thai food. Super reasonably priced for the quality of freshness you get.
Cabernet wine was served at the perfect red wine temperature. We arrived around 7PM on a Sunday and it was not crowded. We ordered the Habitat burger, Chicken Quesadilla and a Tuna Salad. Impressed by all the choices.
The Chicken Quesadilla was 4 big bite sizes of stuffed tortillas. You can taste the charcoal in the chicken and on the tortilla, so good. Stuffed with cheese (I think Mozzarella,) Green Peppers and tomatoes. Fresh cilantro on the top.
The waiters were so nice. They replaced dirty napkins and silverware throughout the meal.
The burger came crusted with black and white sesame seeds. Thick, juicy patty. I almost didn't get a photo in time because Matt gobbled it up so quickly.
Their Tuna Salad comes with daikon, carrot and cucumber noodles. Thick chunks of grilled tuna (so good, bloody, thick and hearty.) Over a bed of fresh butter lettuce and greens.
Milkshakes were delicious in flavor but not thick like ice cream. We got the vanilla with matcha. You could taste the ice in the milkshake.

Read moreThis place has just opened, but is one of my favorite places in Ubud now. The interior is the BEST, AC inside, nice breeze outside, super comfy couches, bar stools, plenty of electricity sockets and fiber Internet. The food is Vietnamese style, but loads of other options. This isn't a place for dinner, as they close at 6 pm, but they have side orders, lunch options and great breakfast. If you have gluten allergy like me, they have GF options like smoothie bowls, smoothies, fruit salad, spring rolls, omelette, fried rice etc. Just ask the staff for gluten free options. And the portions and glasses are big!!! Not like some other places in Ubud that serve smurf sized portions, and charge an arm and a leg for it -.-
Their coffee is also one of the best in Ubud, slow pressed and potent. They have soy milk options too for those who don't want dairy!! Prices good, especially for the prime location (right opposite new parking area for monkey forest). Friendly and efficient staff, and...
Read morePlace is not bad, but far from a gourmet extravaganza experience that you might expect if you read the reviews. Best burger you ever had really? I had a better one down the street. A chef saying this is one of the top places in the island? Makes me wonder if these reviews are legit at all. It is a cool/cozy Cafe where you can work from (amazing wifi) while having some decent food but honestly there are plenty of better experiences overall in Ubud, I would recommend only coming here if you are absolutely starving after monkey forest, if you need to get online work done or if you live here. If you have limited time and want to have memorable meals skip this one. The burger was bland and looking nothing like the pics online. It was also overcooked and the bread felt like it was from yesterday. Overall I regretted spending one of my few meals here. It would be fine for a everyday kind of meal, not a...
