Title: Unacceptable Rat Infestation and Negligence towards Customer Safety
Review: My recent experience at Ganesha Ek Sanskriti - Traditional Indian Cuisine - Ubud Bali left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the restaurant's standards of cleanliness and customer safety. Despite the initially good food, the presence of a roaming rat completely ruined the dining atmosphere.
Upon witnessing the rat, I promptly informed the manager named Pushkar about the issue. Shockingly, he not only failed to take any action, but he also confirmed having caught more rats earlier in the day. To my dismay, Pushkar justified his inaction by claiming that serving food to unsuspecting guests took precedence over addressing the rat problem. Such a response is not only negligent but also shows a complete disregard for customer safety.
In an attempt to gather evidence, I tried to record a video of the rat's presence. However, it became evident that the manager was aware of my actions as he deliberately obstructed my recording by placing a baby seat near the rat's hiding spot as you can see in the video as those legs are the manager’s.This behavior further highlights the management's evasion rather than a genuine concern for resolving the issue.
The presence of a rat in the restaurant raises serious concerns about the poor cleanliness standards being upheld. Additionally, the fact that the kitchen door was left open indicates a lack of proper hygiene practices. It is crucial for any dining establishment to prioritize cleanliness to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for their patrons.
Furthermore, the restaurant appeared to be understaffed, leading to delays in taking orders, delivering food, and promptly cleaning tables. Such shortcomings in service quality further compound the negative experience and do not reflect well on the establishment.
Despite the initially good food, the unfortunate encounter with a roaming rat, along with the evident neglect by management, the poor cleanliness, and subpar service, overshadowed any positive aspects of my visit. I strongly urge to address these issues promptly, improve their cleanliness standards, and provide adequate staffing to ensure a safe and satisfactory dining experience for all customers.
Does not deserve to be given a star as well.
Thank you Sharan

Giving reasons the restaurant is on full swing is not adviceable as no one is aware of the rat and no idea where the rats even coming from or even the hygiene of the restaurant speaks alot about the restaurant. Secondly talking about 100% unavoidable then either you are agreeing to the fact your restaurant is not hygienic or you have chosen the wrong pest company. Thirdly I am still in Bali and i am still ready to pay for the food but every customer in your restaurant should be aware of the rat situation and should know about this as your manager pushkar has told not to tell anyone about it. If you agree i will come back and pay for the bill with everyone in your restaurant knows about...
Read moreMe and My boyfriend came here twice for dinner, both times we mentioned to the server that I have a peanut allergy and they assured us there was no peanuts in what we had ordered. The first time we ate here we ordered samosas which my boyfriend bit into first and quickly told me not to take a bite as there was peanuts in them even though we had told them about my allergy. We thought we would try the restaurant again as the food i was actually able to eat was quite nice. The next time we came a couple days later we told the server I have a peanut allergy and said please make sure there’s no peanuts in anything, again they said it was okay and then we received the dosa we ordered and I looked into one of the sauces that came with it and there was a peanut in it (confirmed to be a peanut by my boyfriend taking a bite) we called over a waitress and she said there wasn’t any peanuts in the sauce even though my boyfriend had just eaten one. The server who took our order then came over took the sauce away to the kitchen and brought us a different one as the first one had peanuts in it with no apology or concern that I may have eaten it. Safe to say I didn’t really enjoy the rest of my meal as I was very worried I would eat a peanut and go into anaphylactic shock which is a shame because the food was actually quite nice. Both of the experiences were really quite scary for me and there is clearly no concern for allergies here which is deeply concerning, I’m glad I managed to narrowly avoid eating the peanuts in my meals but i would suggest for anyone with allergies to not eat here despite their sign at the waiters station to tell their servers about your allergies as they clearly...
Read moreOne of the best Indian restaurants that I tried! I will not say the best because I am living in Canada where we have quite good number of excellent Indian restaurants. I like the food honestly freshly made lamb/goat cury and fresh made Nan served warm and delicious!!! I also like the kick in my dish since I asked to have it spicy so I like that they respond to my request which is not usual honestly but it can only be explained by a brave move from a good chef!!! I like his confidence :) (99% of the time when I ask for spicy I don't even get it medium because chefs prefer to stay in safe side and avoid complains from customers regarding the spice thinking that most of customers don't expect spicy even when they ask for it) so I am really impressed! Over all good service, great food, rich taste, wonderful atmosphere and reasonably priced!!! Also I asked the server before getting seated if the meat was Halal, he replied yes it is Halal! But I didn't see any sign in the restaurant or the menu says that meat is Halal so God knows!! However they don't sale pork at all which is a good sign but they sale alcohol which is pretty common thing in Halal restaurants unfortunately so I still belive they were honest! By the way they have...
