CFC Stasiun Gambir Selatan — Restaurant in Jakarta

Just arrived on a 1 am arrival train from Bandung and i found myself famished. There are two CFCs in the station, the north and south, but i found no one tending the north ones (my regular ones). So i headed for the south hall as it has more dining outlets. I first wanted to go to McDonald’s but after finding out CFC still opens i opted for the latter. I got myself Astaga 3 (my always go to) and the cashier offered me “2 french fries for Rp 30 K after tax usually it’s 25 K”. As i was famished i just said yes without any second guess or thought. My bad, i threw away the receipt but i notice it said i ordered french fries with quantity of “2”, and sum amount of 27.272 before tax. When looking at the receipt i was like, “what?”. And not so surprisingly , i did get two french fries and they are the small ones. Or to put things concisely, i was TRICKED into purchasing two sad small french fries by the cashier. Of course, i was fully in control of my decision. But as a lifelong CFC customer, i am so cancelling CFC store in the south hall. Cause this is not upselling, this is a straightforward scam. I don’t usually rant on google review but again, as a lifelong CFC customer i felt completely dumbfounded. Shame on you CFC...

i had a bad experience with their north outlet. my train arrived in the morning, around 6, and i went to this place to buy breakfast. i tried to order their spicy barbeque rice bowl menu but they said it's not ready yet. i was fine with that.

so, i tried again to order their fried chicken only, ala carte. they said they couldn't sell ala carte menu. that's so weird. but then again, i agreed to order their combo menu with rice and drink.

i was baffled because it's more expensive compared to their price list. after i checked the receipt, it turned out they changed my rice, upgrading it into a large size or something without my permission. the chicken was also smaller than other cfc outlets i had tried. i really disliked their upselling approach. i wasn't comfortable...

Took my order by online food service. First i was surprised they have few menus that i can't see on the other chain, like chicken curry rice, rendang rice, fried rice, noodle rice. So i decided trying their fried rice and curry rice. The price was reasonable, and the taste was suprisingly not bad. Their fried rice, i could say, need adding more seasoning to make it better. I like their chicken curry rice, its curry was decent. Sadly i'm not a fan of...
