Double Chin Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Jakarta

When you serve "all you can eat" with standardized menus. Please be consistent and don't make a profit by maximizing the number of guests that doesn't match the amount of food served!

This is my experience during the Iftar event on April 4th. Came at 5.45 PM and the food was running out. It's so damn CROWDED. We're waiting for the 2nd refill, some food were still the same as the menu. BUT some refill are done NOT WITH THE SAME MENU. The "Middle Eastern" menus changed to ordinary boiled eggs, simple grilled chicken, simple sauteed vegetables, regular fried rice. There are still people coming at 6.30 PM and got nothing Middle Eastern ish (they said the all u can eat session runs until 9 PM, so the food should be enough tho!). We have to RESERVATE before coming, so the hotel should be able to measure and calculate the number of guests present. IT IS VERY NOT WORTH IT TO SPENT 180K/person.

3 stars because the Middle Eastern menus are actually cooked very well. Glad I still can taste it. But still.. unfair to people who came late but also paid the same...

Jun 22nd morning, i made a buffet brunch reservation for the 7th of july for my family gathering of 9 persons and they well received my reservation and ask for full payment (?), later in afternoon i transfer down payment and they said already full (?) And offer me on the 14th of July, since i don't live in Jakarta, its not possible for me.

They said reservation made base on First Payment First Serve BUT they didn't mention it when i make a reservation.

Is this your first time manage a restaurant ? Service like an amateur. Or only special people can make a reservation ?

Ps. The day before I DM Instagram and send a whatsapp message to make a reservation ( i did it like a normal person ) they didn't even replied until i...

They provide high quality food with good taste, but is not that special , there are also expensive beverage and affordable one. What make double chin stand out from the rest? It is the atmosphere, such a chill and fancy place with nice service..and you just need to buy a drink! What a steal, really recommend this place to just hang out and chill, there are also rooftop bar and art gallery for guest to explore ,...
