Midori Coffee Menteng — Restaurant in Jakarta

Came for the cafe vintage vibes we saw on social media but surprised by their hospitality and foods!

The foods are worth the price. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, portion size, and ambience 😊

There’s room for improvement in the order system, as they accidentally missed some of our orders. However, their excellent hospitality more than made up for it, and we really appreciated how they handled the situation.

The food place is on the 1st floor. There is also musholla on the 4th floor, it's really convenient.

Perhaps the title of hidden gem is fitting for this coffeeshop, because even though its location is very strategic and in a fairly well-known area in Jakarta, the place is not visible from the street. There isn't even a signboard yet as of the time of this review. The space isn't too large. Despite being integrated with a massage place, it's comfortable enough for working from a cafe, as the Wi-Fi is very fast. The interior itself has a minimalist Japanese aesthetic, dominated by wooden elements. Don't expect much from the food and drinks, as they're not particularly satisfying and not worth the price. Midori Coffee in Jakarta is a true hidden gem! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. Their coffee is top-notch, and the baristas really know their craft. I especially love their latte art; it's almost too beautiful to drink!
