Popeyes Skyline — Restaurant in Jakarta

First of all, the location spot in google map is wrong, so I had to walk from wisma mandiri to skyline thamrin. Finally got to try popeyes in Indonesia today (thursday) around 1 pm, its on weekday after lunch time so it wasnt too crowded and there was no queue. Ordered 1pc classic chicken, buttermilk chicken fingers, popcorn cajun, cajun fries. Took about 10-15mins for my food to get ready so it was pretty quick. Seating place is super limited almost every seats are taken by office workers who were having lunch there. There is a table cleaner who try to clean tables too since indonesian doesnt have self-clearance/cleaning culture in food places (sad I know) though saw a man who clear up his table after eating so prop to him.

Downside is i dont see any tea or non soda drinks (other than water) on the drink menu.. thankfully Burger King counter literally just beside so I ordered frestea from them haha. No screen to show which table number order is ready so the server has to keep screaming table number for pick up/collection (but they have a screen to show which order number they are working on too).

Overall satisfied with the chicken piece since they gave me a big one even if I just ordered 1 piece & the taste is just okay, I think singapore popeyes is better when it comes to the flavor of the chicken. Dont think i'll come back or go out of my way to eat popeyes again in...

this place is strategically located near sarinah area. they share their store with burger king, so it's quite small even though they have an outdoor area with some seats. this place is fully packed during the weekend, it could be hard for you to dine in.

for now they have a promotional menu that if you buy a classic 1 set, you'll get a free chocolate sundae. the classic 1 set consists of one rice, one crispy chicken, and a glass of jasmine tea. the chicken is indeed still crispy. but i think compared to other fast food here in indonesia, the chicken has less flavor. the seasoning is not enough. they also have hot sauce. but again, the taste is kinda tangy and not spicy enough.

the jasmine tea is good. it's not too sweet. the chocolate sundae is also good. again, it's not too sweet just like my preference. the sundae itself also has a good...

Visited on fri nite. After lebaran's holiday.

The place located in the same place with BurgerKing's. Actually we sat separated by a BK's sofa. Nothin bad. But the space is packed full of people, both indoor and outdoor. ( because the seatin arrangmnt was for 2 resto together).

A bit dissapointed for the food. Cuz, I'd know this brand since 1999. At that time, they have a jumbo size of the chicken, delicious perfecto onion rings. Yesterday, in order to bring my teen memories, i took my childern n husband there. But, the original chicken had a bit spicy and the onion rings was look like a dougnout because of limps of flour.

I hope when i come to others branch, it will taste different and gets better. Suprisingly, the other branch opened near my house.
