We ordered the AYCE premium set. I don't know whether we were just unlucky or what, but there were a lot of disappointment when we ate there.
The premium set stated that we'd get a portion of pork knuckle and port ribs. Their "1 portion" were: +- ¼ of pork knuckle from the picture +- 4 thin pork ribs
Nope, Don't expect satisfaction.
The sides didn't have many options compared to another restaurants that'd cost you 348k/person.
The free flow pork sides are mostly too salty.
The soup was vague 😂 visual and taste wise.
The food that we have to order (the ones on the menu board) took 10 to 15 minutes to prepare. So, better order a lot at once.
At 11.33 we ordered 4 plates (only 3 think slices per plate) of pork belly n pork tenderloin. We waited till 11.50 and apparently they didn't input our order.
It came out at 12.10 something.
At that point we were very disappointed already by the taste and service, yet we still tried to believe in em, we ordered a plate of salmon don and peri² rice.
Disappointed, we tried our best to eat em, but we couldn't. So we decided to just let em char8us for unfinished food. Thinking we'll just eat em at home. Mind you, 1 and ½ perfect portions.
Apparently, even though we have to pay for the unfinished carbo and protein, WE COULDN'T HAVE EM AS TAKE AWAY. House rules ... 🫠🫠 So ... With my own eyes, in this starving world, I saw how they decided to just throw away 536gr of rice and meat...
I know every restaurant have their own rules, but I've been to bigger place and I've taken away the unfinished food... AND I ATE IT AT HOME!
So... That's my biggest disappointment... That's the worse part... Really, pork Ville? You just throw perfectly fine food that your customer PAY for???
We're not going back there......
Read morePork Ville is a true haven for pork enthusiasts, offering a diverse menu that satisfies all cravings. I recently indulged in their Pork Satai, Porchetta, Crispy Pork Belly, Kecombrang Sambal Matah Pork Fried Rice, Petai Balado Pork Fried Rice, and Nachos, and I must say, it was an unforgettable culinary experience.
The Pork Satai was tender and well-marinated, bursting with smoky flavors that paired perfectly with the accompanying dipping sauce. The Porchetta was beautifully roasted, with a crispy, golden skin and succulent meat seasoned to perfection.
The Crispy Pork Belly stole the show with its incredibly crunchy crackling and juicy, flavorful meat—a must-try for pork belly lovers!
For rice dishes, the Kecombrang Sambal Matah Pork Fried Rice stood out with its bold, aromatic spices and the unique tang of kecombrang, making every bite both fragrant and flavorful. Meanwhile, the Petai Balado Pork Fried Rice offered a spicy kick with the earthy flavor of petai beans, creating a delightful fusion of traditional and modern tastes.
Surprisingly, even the Nachos didn’t disappoint—layered generously with flavorful pork toppings, they were a perfect starter to share.
Overall, Pork Ville exceeded my expectations with its flavorful dishes, generous portions, and perfect execution of pork-centric recipes. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone looking to explore the versatility of pork dishes in an innovative yet...
Read moreThe food selection was amazing and executed nicely. This restaurant had all types of pork dishes from various places. Local, you name it! Balinese, Manadonese, etc. They also had Japanese, Western, Chinese, and fusion types of dishes.
I ordered a pork porschetta rice set (in order to try all other protein dishes included in the set), but it was their own twist on porschetta. They cut the pork into small pieces and it feels more like a crispy pork belly, but with deep seasoning from porschetta. However, it was tasty and crispy and had all textures and aroma inside.
The portion was huge, the seasoning and food were strong and great! It was tasty and had all the balanced elements to it. The sambal matah was spicy, aromatic, and strong, beware if you're not used to spicy food.
The satay was smokey and flavourful. The crispy spinach was on point as well.
Will definitely come back again and try all other menus that they have.
Great job!
Update: I came around the 2nd time and I have to highlight, their pork knuckle (XL or whole) issa game changer 👏🏻 Crispy, well cooked, and added with sides fresh salad, creamy mashed potatoes, grilled corn. We shared for 3 people.
Their balinese satay was also sweet, tender, and very smoothly grinded peanut sauce. Nasi goreng babi petai balado was spicy on the rice, but had many proteins on a plate as...
