Our visit to Restaurant Sederhana Satrio was a culinary disappointment and a lesson in poor customer service, primarily due to a waitress named D. Hermawan. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, our anticipation for a satisfying meal quickly dwindled as we encountered a series of disheartening events that left us utterly dissatisfied and upset.
Initially, the service seemed promising. We placed a substantial order, including several food, beverages and Es Campur/Es Teler. However, our experience took a sharp downturn when D. Hermawan began to exhibit blatant inhospitality. Despite our timely order, he chose to prioritize another table that had arrived much later. This reckless disregard for order of service was particularly evident when he served Ayam Pop to the other table, while we were left waiting for over 30 minutes.
To add insult to injury, I overheard D. Hermawan making disparaging remarks about us to his colleagues, referring to us as "dari awal nyeleneh" (troublesome from the beginning). This unprofessional behavior is entirely unacceptable. His condescending attitude was further highlighted when we politely inquired about our delayed Ayam Pop, only to be met with a mocking grin and a poker face. His actions displayed a complete lack of respect for customers.
The situation escalated when he already served a chicken thighs to the other table first, despite our explicit request for these well before their arrival. His subsequent apology felt insincere and hollow, as it was evident that his actions were deliberate. Spending nearly IDR 600,000 on such an experience felt like a complete waste, exacerbated by the poor service and unprofessionalism we encountered.
I strongly urge the owner and management team of Restaurant Sederhana Satrio to reevaluate D. Hermawan and his peers. It is imperative that they undergo extensive training in hospitality, honesty, and integrity. Such behavior not only tarnishes the reputation of the restaurant but also dissuades loyal customers from returning. This unpleasant experience should serve as a wake-up call to implement necessary improvements and ensure that no other customer has to endure...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreActually, I'm too lazy to come to this restaurant, especially at lunch time... The queue was made uncomfortable and piled up in front of the cashier When I got a table I had to wait more than 10 minutes for the food to be served along with the drinks. I thought the manager, because I saw his clothes were different and his name tag said Kurnia, was not friendly and his smile was not sincere and there was an impression of being in a hurry to serve me.
I understand, maybe the manager was pressed for time because at that time it was quite busy, but that doesn't mean serving in a hurry.
As for the food, the jackfruit vegetables were a bit sour, the rendang was hard and in the green chili sauce I found flies and on my table there were small cockroaches roaming around.
I was disappointed to come to this restaurant, with expensive prices but the service and food were disappointing...
One more thing, the importance of smiling, especially for female staff, when I was at the cashier it seems like the cashier is stingy with a...
